Brad Pitt's girl Ines de Ramon is seen for first time since he gushed about their 'warm, secure' romance

Brad Pitt 's girlfriend Ines de Ramon has been seen for the first time since the movie icon talked about her in the June issue of GQ magazine while promoting his June 27th film F1 about race car driving. He said he felt 'warm and secure' with his love. 'Mostly I feel pretty…. My life is fairly contained,' said Pitt. 'It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am.' When asked by GQ if he made his red carpet debut with Ines at a Formula 1 race event to promote his new film, he said no. Pitt said it wasn't 'that calculated' and that life and relationships evolve naturally. He also expressed that he didn't see the attention from his personal life as a deliberate choice to separate from his work. 'No, dude, it's not that calculated,' Pitt laughed. 'If you're living, oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.' On Monday beauty - who works as the Vice President of Anita Ko Jewelry - was seen stepping out alone in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles. The budding red carpet diva was wearing a long beige sweater with pockets and oversized sunglasses with a black Chanel purse on her shoulder. The ex of actor Paul Wesley wore her dark hair down as she held onto a coffee tumbler and silver laptop. The chic style was pure Angelina Jolie in many ways. The two look very much alike even though they are far apart in age: Ines is 32-years-old and Angelina will be 50 years old on Wednesday. Pitt and Jolie, who share six children — Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, Knox, 16, and Vivienne, also 16 — married in 2014 after meeting on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith. Jolie filed for divorce in 2016. In the same GQ interview, Brad broke his silence on his ugly eight-year Jolie divorce battle that finally ended in December 2024. The Oscar-winning actor was not venting, however, and instead seemed to try and downplay the legal boxing match that's made headlines for almost a decade. The 61-year-old said finally seeing the end of their battle was not 'major.' 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing,' Pitt said. 'Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' Pitt did acknowledge his love life is 'always in the news.' 'It's been in the news for 30 years, bro. Or some version of my personal life, let's put it that way,' he told GQ. He now lives at his Los Angeles home with de Ramon. When the GQ writer asked if making F1 was 'a refuge from all the attention' he said, 'Um, I don't see it that way. 'It's been an annoyance I've had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do,' he said of fame. 'So, it's always been this kind of nagging time suck or waste of time, if you let it be that, I don't know. I don't know. He also told GQ that the movie made him happy to be a Hollywood actor. 'Man, I've been doing this for a while and was wondering: Do I have more stories to tell? Do I have anything to add to this? Is there still any excitement I can find from this? It just reinvigorated the whole thing again for me.' The interview comes after Daily Mail revealed Pitt is 'back in the arms' of new love de Ramon for a little work break. The Hollywood actor returned to his Los Angeles home in May, has learned. Pitt had been shooting his latest movie, the survival thriller Heart Of The Beast, in New Zealand for almost three months. Both were seen in Los Angeles last week, but separately. 'Brad is happy to be back in Los Angeles with his lady, he is very in love with her,' the source shared. 'They are doing better than ever. The breakup rumors are not true at all. They are solid.' The couple, who went public with their relationship in November 2022, have marked their third year anniversary. Earlier reported that Pitt is in a good place with his love life. 'They are very much in love and happy to be in a healthy relationship,' the source said. 'Brad loves being with a woman who is not an actress because there is no competition at all, they have their own careers and there is zero jealousy.' Indeed, a relationship with a non-celebrity has marked a stark shift for Pitt whose previous partners have included A-list actresses Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. Pitt is not Ramon's first famous boyfriend, either. She was previously married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, but they divorced after five years in November. Pitt's Heart Of The Beast shoot marks the longest time the couple has spent apart since moving in together at his LA mansion last year. But now he has to head out again. The Oscar-winner will go on an international press tour for his race car movie F1. The New York City premiere for the drama is June 16 and the London premiere at Leicester Square is on June 23.

The enduring allure of the signet ring: how a striking piece of jewellery travelled from Mesopotamia in 3,500BC to 21st century fashion runways, donned by Elvis Presley and Meghan Markle

One of the most quietly commanding accessories you can wear – small in size but rich in symbolism – the pinky ring, especially the signet variety, has always been a popular jewellery choice among a certain set. Enjoying a spike in popularity of late, signet rings are frequently being spotted on runways, red carpets and in collections from designers putting their own spin on this old-school staple. So what exactly is a signet ring – and is it the same as a pinky ring? Not quite. A pinky ring is simply any ring worn on the little finger. A signet ring, on the other hand, is defined by its flat surface, often engraved with a crest, initials or symbol. While signets are traditionally worn on the pinky – of the non-dominant hand – a pinky ring doesn't have to be a signet. Still, the two terms are often used interchangeably – and with good reason, as the signet has become the most iconic pinky style of all. The ancient Egyptians continued the tradition, carving sacred symbols in reverse to leave imprints in wax or clay – giving rise to the tradition of wearing the ring on the pinky, which made sealing easier without obstructing writing. The use of signet rings continued through the Roman Empire, when carved gemstones served as personal signatures – and status symbols – for emperors and merchants. In medieval Europe, they also became legal instruments, and were often destroyed upon the owner's death to prevent misuse. The pope's Fisherman's Ring, used to seal documents until 1842, symbolises papal authority to this day. By the Renaissance, signet rings were tied to aristocratic tradition, especially in Britain , where they were engraved with coats of arms and passed down through the generations. They also signified allegiance, being worn by Freemasons and other societies as discreet symbols of identity. A stack of Maison H Jewels' 18k yellow gold and diamond rings. Winston Churchill famously wore a large square one, bearing the crests of both the Churchill and Spencer families (the latter marking a lineage that would later include Diana, Princess of Wales ). The 1960s and 70s saw another cultural change, with the rings now speaking much more of individuality than heritage. Rock and soul legends like Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and James Brown embraced the pinky ring, blending tradition with their own sense of style. King Charles III has been pictured wearing his gold signet ring since the mid-1970s – a royal tradition continued by Meghan Markle , who has started wearing a gold signet ring engraved with her and Prince Harry's royal cipher. Today, the pinky ring is being reinterpreted by a new generation of designers and wearers, with many modern iterations proudly genderless or designed with women in mind, moving away from the outdated notion of signet rings as men's jewellery . Still, the style continues to carry rich historical significance, making it a symbol that bridges tradition and modernity.
