LIST: Albuquerque city services operating on Memorial Day
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — It's Memorial Day Weekend. Essential city services will continue operating, but some non-essential services may be closed on Monday, May 26.
Here's a look at which City of Albuquerque will be open and closed for this year's Memorial Day.
ABQ BioPark Aquarium, Botanic Garden, Tingley Beach, and Zoo
Golf Courses are open
All swimming pools are open
Trash & Recycling is collected and the Convenience Centers and the landfill are open
Sierra Vista Tennis Facility
311 Community Contact Center (Report issues anytime online)
ABQ RIDE bus, Sun Van, and ABQ RIDE Connect Services
Albuquerque Museum and Balloon Museum (Closed every Monday)
Eastside & Westside Shelters including the adoption lobbies, animal admissions, and the medical clinic
Community Centers
Senior Centers and Senior Meal Sites
Childhood Development Centers
Health & Social Service Centers
All Libraries
Open Space Visitor Center
Jerry Cline Tennis Facility
The city would like to remind the public that emergency services including 911, 242-COPS, and Albuquerque Safety Services are always available
City meter parking in Old Town, Downtown, and Nob Hill will be free on Monday
The City of Albuquerque's Annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Parade begins with the parade at 9 a.m. at USS Bullhead Memorial Park
