Thailand Open boxing: Tanwar, Gill make the finals
Naman Tanwar (90kg) and Anshul Gill (90+kg) registered hard-fought wins over their respective opponents from Uzbekistan to enter the finals at the Thailand Open international boxing tournament in Bangkok on Thursday (May 29, 2025). Tanwar overcame Juraboev Elyorbek 4-1, while Gill edged past Rustamov Abdurakhmon 3-2 in the semifinals. In women's competitions, Tamanna (51kg), Priya (57kg) and Lalfakmawii (80kg) exited in the last-four stage.

India's Anshul Gill and Sanju in Thailand Open boxing semifinals
Anshul Gill and Sanju recorded convincing wins to move into the semifinals of men's 90+kg and women's 60kg categories respectively at the Thailand Open international boxing tournament in Bangkok on Monday. In the quarterfinals, Gill beat Kazakhstan's Daniyal Saparbay, while Sanju defeated Indonesia's Reka Mariana Kasibulan by an identical 5-0 margin.
