Wrexham: The Turn Table set to to open by sutumn, team says
The Turn Table will be an over-21's venue offering classic vinyl music, tapas food, crafted cocktails, live music and more.
The business is owned by Ansloos Leisure Ltd, the same company which owns The Con's Club in Ruabon, The Cefn Club in Cefn Mawr and The Midland based in the heart of Wrexham.
Now, their latest venture will see them bring The Turn Table to Wrexham's High Street (unit 25-27), opposite The Midland.
Ansloos Leisure Ltd director, Sam Ansloos said: "We're delighted to confirm that planning has now been granted for The Turn Table, and we will begin our refurbishment immediately.
"This project has been in development for some time, and our vision is simple: to create a venue that Wrexham has never seen before—where vinyl culture, innovative cocktails, and a refined small-plate dining experience come together in one unique space.

"The Turn Table will offer guests a curated, immersive experience where they can select records from our wall of vinyl, enjoy handcrafted cocktails inspired by sound, and share British tapas-style dishes in a setting that blends retro soul with modern style—including a baby grand piano for live performances."
Mr Ansloos added: "One of our boldest goals is to place The Turn Table on the UK's Top 50 Bars list, while proudly representing Wrexham and contributing to its growing reputation as a vibrant, creative destination.

"We're passionate about this city, and we believe The Turn Table will help put Wrexham firmly on the map for nightlife, hospitality, and cultural innovation."
Asked about when the venue will be open, Mr Ansloos added: "So, we estimate that the refurb will take between 10 and 16 weeks.
"We are estimating an opening date of between August and September this year."
