Siti Nurhaliza grateful at her song being selected for "The King's Music Room" on Apple Music
13 Mar - Siti Nurhaliza recently admitted that she did not expect "Anta Permana" would have gained the attention of the British monarch King Charles III, let alone becoming one of his picks for his Apple Music collaboration. The singer, who was interviewed by Hot FM following the release of Apple Music's "The King's Music Room", where her song was featured as one of the King's favourite, said that she was informed by Universal Music regarding the selection prior to that. "Praise be to God. Allah gave me the blessing to be recognised. It isn't easy to have people love and value our work," she said. At the same time, Siti also congratulated the song's writers, Hael Husaini and Ezra Kong, saying, "We need composers like them. With the advantage of the current technology, we can make it to the global market." Siti's "Anta Permana" was one of the many songs King Charles picked for the show that was made in conjunction of the Commonwealth Day. Among other performers of his choice include Diana Ross, Raye, Beyonce, Kylie Minogue and Bob Marley. Meanwhile, Hael recently posted his own thoughts about it, writing, "I never imagined that one of my compositions with @ezrakong, sung by our @ctdk, titled Anta Permana, would be chosen as one of His Majesty King Charles III ' playlist songs @theroyalfamily. Alhamdulillah Proud." (Photo Source: Hael IG, Siti IG, Apple)
