Universities accused of foot-dragging on antisemitism definition
Leading academic institutions, including the Australian National University and University of Technology Sydney, are yet to adopt a definition of antisemitism that all vice chancellors agreed to three months ago, amid push-back from academics and students.
Jewish student groups accused the ANU of more foot-dragging on taking measures to combat antisemitism on campus, after the chair of the academic board, Professor Anthony Connolly, told representatives on Friday the university would not adopt the definition.
