One seriously injured, one in custody following Jericho crash
JERICHO, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – One person was arrested and another left with life-threatening injuries after the crash that closed part of Vermont Route 117 Wednesday.
31-year-old Anthony J Burbo was driving with two passengers when he left the roadway and entered the oncoming-drivers lane, police say. The vehicle he was driving, a 2010 Subaru Outback then reportedly collided with a 1997 Honda Civic.
The Honda driver, from Richmond has life threatening injuries.
Burbo was screened and arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs, among other charges. He was cited, taken to a correctional facility and lodged on $1000 bail. Burbo is due in court May 29, Thursday morning.
