These musicians have never met. This weekend, they'll perform together.
Anthony Pirog and Wayne Horvitz have never played together — in fact, they've never even met.
'I'm definitely a fan of his, but I don't know how he got my email,' D.C. guitarist Pirog says of Seattle-based pianist and keyboardist Horvitz, with whom he'll play a concert of improvised music at Rhizome on April 6. 'I don't even know how he's heard of me!'
