Funeral arrangements set for Nicholasville police officer
NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Nicholasville Police Department announced the death of one of their officers on Monday.
Anthony Ruggiero served the department for nine years. Authorities said his death was 'untimely.'
Nicholasville mourns following officer's 'untimely death'
According to an obituary, Ruggiero passed away on Sunday at his home in Wilmore.
A visitation service will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Southland Christian Church on Thursday. Ruggiero's funeral will be held at noon at the church the following day.
Community first responders will join his family as they lay one of their own to rest at Camp Nelson National Cemetery following services on Friday.
