Vice raid in Gadong, Brunei leads to arrest of three local women

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Three local women, aged between 27 and 37, were recently arrested for alleged involvement in immoral activities during a raid conducted by personnel from the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) under the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).
According to the RBPF, the raid was carried out at a rented room in Mukim Gadong and targeted illegal activities believed to involve the online offering of sexual services.
Items seized as evidence included cash, several condoms, and mobile phones.

The suspects and the confiscated items were brought to the CID for further investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 294A, Chapter 22 of the Penal Code for offences related to the offering of sexual services.
The RBPF reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to monitoring, intelligence gathering, and law enforcement to curb criminal activities in the country.
