Investiture ceremony held at Sainik School
Thiruvananthapuram: Sainik School, Kazhakkoottam, organised its investiture ceremony for the year 2025-26 on Tuesday.
Brigadier Anurag Upadhyaya, station commander, Pangode military station, was the chief guest.
The ceremony marked the formal installation of school appointments and house captains, who took the oath of responsibility in a vibrant ceremony that reflected the spirit and discipline of the institution.
The event was brought to life with an impressive drill display by the cadets and their ceremonial turnout. In the auditorium, Brigadier Upadhyaya conducted the piping ceremony of the newly appointed school leaders, assisted by school staff and officers.
In his address, Brigadier Upadhyaya expressed his deep appreciation for the school's legacy in shaping future leaders of the nation. He lauded the cadets for their excellent presentation of the sand model and awarded medals of appreciation to those involved in its execution.
As a gesture towards the continued development of the institution, he also contributed Rs 3.4 lakh to the school development fund.
