Sydney Sweeney is single and ready to mingle. After months of speculation regarding her relationship status since calling off her wedding to longtime partner Jonathan Davino, Sweeney has officially broken her silence on her love life. In a new interview with The Times, the Anything But You star confirmed that she is indeed a single and Davino, a producer who has worked alongside Sweeney on several projects, first sparked dating rumors in late 2018 when they were spotted attending several industry events together. The couple made their relationship official, but Sweeney has shied away from sharing too many details about her personal life as her star has risen. The couple got engaged in 2022, but rumors began swirling earlier this year that there might be trouble in their relationship. In February, Sweeney's ever-present engagement ring was suddenly missing. When asked about this by The Times, and whether she was still in the process of planning her wedding, the 27-year-old star simply said 'No.' When pressed further and asked whether she was currently single, Sweeney confirmed the news. And said that she is 'learning a lot about myself, [and] spending more time with my friends' as a result of her relationship status change. Perhaps most telling was Sweeney's final comment on no longer being engaged: 'I'm loving it.'Sweeney has also been incredibly busy with a number of projects, including filming the long-awaited season of Euphoria, and a new guy in her life: an adorable puppy named Sully. But Sweeney knows that finding a balance is important. As she told The Times, she is trying to learn how to be better about slowing down and taking time off. 'I hear it more from my family than myself,' she said: ''Sydney, you're going to burn out. Sydney, you need to slow down. Sydney, you need to take a break.'' The 28-year-old has teamed up with Dr. Squatch, an all-natural soap brand, to sell her dirty bathwater. Chatting to GQ, Sweeney admitted she didn't know much about the whole erotic-bathwater niche until she saw her comment section. 'I honestly think it's a really fun, full-circle moment,' Sweeney said. 'Fans always joke about wanting my bath water… I was like, this is just such a cool way to have a conversation with the audience and give them what they want.' Sydney Sweeney gets close to co-star Brandon Sklenar at music festival after split from fiance
Sydney Sweeney got close to her Housemaid co-star Brandon Sklenar while letting loose at the 2025 Stagecoach Festival this past weekend. The actress, 27, was filmed by a fellow attendee getting lost in the music while dancing directly in front of the actor, 34. Though the video, which went viral on TikTok, did not show Sweeney or Sklenar's full bodies, they sure seemed to be quite close. Sweeney swayed her head back and forth while mouthing the words to a song as the It Ends With Us star towered over her and looked around, keeping his hood over his head. Earlier this month, the Euphoria star interviewed Sklenar for Interview magazine, and though they kept the conversation professional, they didn't shy away from complimenting each other. After the 1923 star told Sweeney about his approach to tackling his character in Drop, she replied, 'Well, I felt like you made him super compassionate and caring. You understood what she was going through, and you were there for her. There were a lot of layers, and it was deep.' He returned the favour when the topic of her physical transformation to play boxer Christy Martin in a forthcoming biopic came up. 'I think it's f***ing remarkable what you did for that role, truly,' he gushed. 'I can't wait for people to see that.' In January, Sweeney and Sklenar attended a Cult of Love Broadway performance together, which gave fans deja vu. In 2023, she and her Anything But You co-star Glen Powell appeared to feed into dating rumours during their press tour for the rom-com. At the time, Sweeney was engaged to movie producer Jonathan Davino; however, she called off the wedding last month and ended the relationship for good. Days later, the blonde beauty went to Powell's sister's wedding, which fanned the flames of their rumoured real-life romance. She also posted a playful video from the set of Housemaid that showed Sklenar picking her up and putting her on his shoulder. As for the brown-haired hunk, it's unclear whether he's still dating personal trainer and nutritionist Courtney Salviolo, whom he spoke about just last month. 'I actually met my partner on a dating app. I didn't have Facebook. I wasn't a phone app guy,' Sklenar told Entertainment Tonight in mid-March. 'It was right when Covid happened. How am I going to meet somebody? I was like, 'Oh I'll get on this.' I think it was Hinge.'â� Sklenar and Salviolo were last photographed together in February while attending the Season 2 premiere of 1923.
