HUAWEI launches highly-anticipated smartwatch with up to 10-day battery life

Whether you're an avid gym goer or simply want to track your daily steps, there's no better way to ace your fitness goals than with a smartwatch. If you're in the market for a new model with all the tech-savvy features, HUAWEI just launched its latest model; the FIT 4 Pro Smartwatch, with a surprisingly affordable price tag. A one-stop shop for tracking daily activities, monitoring sleep, taking calls and receiving notifications from your smartphone, it's noticeably light to wear at just 27g, with a comfortable band and incredible 10-day battery life. HUAWEI makes it easier than ever to track all kinds of movement, including pro-level outdoor sports like freediving, trail runs and even golf (it can map out an entire course and help you fine-tune your swing). Compatible with most iOS and Android devices, get set to ace any kind of fitness goal with the latest HUAWEI model as your motivator. Retailing for just $469 at Amazon Australia — it's currently $150 cheaper than the latest Apple Watch 2025 model. Shoppers are embracing active lifestyles more than ever (say hello to ever-growing run clubs), with studies showing that over 19 million Aussies have a love for sports and the outdoors. Of that sky-high number, running, swimming and golf are all big players, with thousands choosing to take the tracks, courses and water. That's why HUAWEI tailored the FIT 4 Pro to appeal to the masses, offering extensive tracking features across the most popular sports and outdoor activities. Thanks to the tech-savvy smartwatch, you can now track performance on the trail, precision at the golf course and endurance in the water up to 40 meters. At just 27 grams, the WATCH FIT 4 is slim and smooth, perfect for everyday wear, including during the night to enable sleep monitoring. It also features an advanced heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO₂) monitoring, delivering precise, real-time insights into cardiovascular performance and respiratory health. The newly-launched device also offers enhanced Menstrual Cycle Management tools, allowing shoppers to track symptoms and notice any irregularities. Tried & Tested 7News' tech-wizard Sonny Loudon got his hands on the new arrival to see if it lives up the highly-anticipated hype. Cost With a smartphone already in my back pocket and a laptop and headphones in my bag it was always a hard sell the idea of forking out more money for ANOTHER device. But as technology has moved in leaps and bounds you don't need to spend an arm and a leg anymore to have a smartwatch with all the bells and whistles — this watch, priced under $500, is a case in point. Battery Life There isn't anything more frustrating than realising you forgot to charge your devices overnight and being left with a dead piece of aluminium and glass that you can't use. This was a major factor in me not becoming an early adopter of smart watches, but with up to 10 days of battery life it hasn't materialised as a real concern or even a factor in deciding whether or not to throw the smartwatch on my wrist everyday. The biggest selling point for me in any new piece of tech is how well it disappears. Daily driving the Watch Fit 4 Pro I can honestly say I forgot I was wearing a smart watch! It's lightweight, low profile and only the notifications I want to come through make it to my wrist.
