Wrexham spotlight 'undervalued assets' in football
That is the view of football finance expert Dr Rob Wilson, a leading sports finance expert and Professor of Applied Sport Business at Sheffield Hallam University.
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover at The Racecourse in February 2021 and the club has become a global sensation under the actors, earning a new legion of fans across the globe.

'Everybody's looking for those undervalued assets and football is relatively sexy as a product to invest in.
'When it comes to Donald Trump and tariffs, some markets move away from those investment opportunities because of regulatory positions that exist, so taking tariffs for instance, might reduce the amount of American investment in the game, which then presents an opportunity for other people that aren't under those tariffs to invest.'
