FM travels to Turkey to attend Antalya Diplomacy Forum
CAIRO, April 10 (MENA) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty headed Thursday to the Turkish city of Antalya to participate in the 4th edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025) to be held during the period from April 11 to 13. This year's theme 'Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World' reflects the pressing need for diplomacy to reassert itself as a stabilizing force, amid rising global divisions. The top diplomat is scheduled to take part in a number of sessions of the forum and hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the gathering with his counterparts, in addition to participating in a meeting of the Arab-Islamic Contact Group on Gaza. In an era of heightened instability and unpredictability, marked by complex challenges and multiple crises, the Antalya Diplomacy Forum aims to evaluate the systemic problems of the multilateral order and foster dialogue on reclaiming diplomacy in a rapidly evolving international environment.(MENA)

Aboul Gheit warns of the danger of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza
Cairo – INA Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, warned on Friday of the danger of the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza. During the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Islamic Contact Group on Gaza, held in Antalya, Turkey, on Friday, Aboul Gheit stressed the "absolute priority of a ceasefire in Gaza," warning of "the danger of an unprecedented deterioration of the humanitarian situation with the aim of forcing Palestinians out of the Strip." The Secretary-General's official spokesperson, Jamal Rushdi, said, "The meeting witnessed an extensive discussion on ways to build internal pressure to halt the brutal Israeli war on civilians in Gaza, with the aim of preventing a displacement scenario that is rejected by Arab and international powers." Rushdi affirmed that "the ministers of the Arab and Islamic countries that are members of the Contact Group discussed the next steps on the political and diplomatic levels regarding the implementation of the two-state solution and strengthening support for it within the international community, particularly with regard to the conference expected to be held in New York next June under joint Saudi-French sponsorship to advance the two-state solution." He added that "the attendees emphasized the importance of France taking the necessary and necessary step of recognizing the Palestinian state, considering this represents an important step towards the two-state solution."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs is scheduled to participate in several sessions of the forum, hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum with a number of his counterparts, and participate in the meeting of the Arab-Islamic Contact Group on Gaza.
