Archies Fine Coffee in downtown San Antonio offers more than CBD drinks
A local coffee shop offers energy drinks and CBD-infused beverages alongside an array of speciality sips.
The vibe: Archies Fine Coffee downtown on Broadway is professional yet fun. The tiled floor and comfortable booth seating make it fit for a business meeting, and the neon blue Gildemeister's jewelers sign, plucked from a bygone era of San Antonio, adds a touch of fun.
That pretty much represents the drink offerings too.
What to try: I opted to skip the CBD and go for The Whimsey ($6.25) — as you probably know by now, I can't resist trying a new cold foam drink.
This one is nitro-infused, so it's smoother than a typical cold brew. It comes with salted caramel and brown sugar.
It's pretty sweet, but the creamy foam and strong coffee help make up the difference.
Catch up quick: Archies opened its Medical Center location in 2021 and moved downtown last August, per the SA Current. It has since opened a shop in San Marcos.
