Buy Isuzu D-Max Price, PPC or HP

Buying What should I be paying? Prices start from just over £27,000, but with the Arctic Trucks variant an official part of the range and available through Isuzu dealers, the D-Max now tops out at over £50,000. Yikes. Although then you realise the Ineos Grenadier Quartermaster starts at £66,240. The model range is structured into three segments: Business, All-Purpose and Adventure. Within Business you'll find the Utility trim, offered in a choice of 4x2 or 4x4 and in three different cab types: single, extended and double cab. Features include vinyl flooring and cool-as-ever steel wheels, plus hard-wearing black bumpers, door mirrors and door handles. The workhorse, in other words. Post 2023 facelift you do now get a touchscreen infotainment system in there though, plus a reversing camera, a 'rough terrain mode' on four-wheel drive versions and upgraded driver assist systems. Prices start at £27,505. Advertisement - Page continues below The All-Purpose range previously consisted of just the DL20 and DL40 versions, with 'DL' signifying that the rear diff-lock comes as standard, and the '20' and '40' demonstrating the model hierarchy. Now though, the V-Cross has also shifted into here, with 'Adventure' presumably being saved for the AT35. The DL20 starts at £33,005 and can be had in extended cab or double cab forms, with the former featuring fold down seats that can either accommodate passengers or offer additional indoor storage. The double cab adds proper rear seats with ISOFIX points, but gets a smaller load bed as a result. The DL20 trim adds 18in alloy wheels, body-coloured front and rear bumpers, heated front seats, slightly more fancy cloth trim and a couple of extra speakers. The £36,505 DL40 is double cab only and gets LED lights, a chrome grille, silver side steps and two-tone wheels. Because two tones are better than one, apparently. You also get keyless entry, leather upholstery, and USB-C ports in the front and rear. As previously mentioned, the best seller is apparently the V-Cross, which gets dark grey 18in alloy wheels and the same colour trim on the grille, mirrors and door handles. There's also that larger infotainment screen, even more speakers to improve the audio experience (or to drown out the engine noise) and a choice of eight different exterior colours. Prices start at £38,005. Advertisement - Page continues below The Arctic Trucks AT35 kicks off at £52,505 and is a pretty specialist bit of kit. With its fancy Bilstein suspension it gets a 35-degree approach angle, 34-degree breakover angle and 22-degree ramp angle. There are also huge all terrain tyres, with guides for the correct pressures built into the massive wheelarches. Very cool. Which should you choose? Depends what you're planning on using it for. Commercial buyers needn't look further than the rough-and-ready Utility trim, which will be more than a match for everyday working life. Families? If your budget can stretch that far you'll appreciate the extra luxuries offered in the V-Cross, that is if you're considering a pickup to replace that aging small crossover. Looking to climb a mountain or reach the North Pole? You'll be wanting the Arctic Trucks treatment. It's probably also worth noting here that the D-Max secured an impressive five-star Euro NCAP rating. That's thanks to the standard active safety systems like lane departure warning and prevention, traffic sign recognition and an intelligent speed limiter. There's also an Autonomous Emergency Braking system that Isuzu helpfully demonstrated to us with the help of a polystyrene cut out. All of this helps sell the D-Max to fleet buyers, who should save on insurance claims with fewer accidents. Break something in the rough stuff and you'll be covered by Isuzu's 125,000 mile/five-year warranty.

Arctic Trucks Unveils Modified Toyota Land Cruiser 250

Read the full story on Backfire News Arctic Trucks has pulled the wrappings off its Land Cruiser 250/Prado AT37 build and it's wonderfully understated. After all, these days we're constantly inundated with off-road mods that are in-your-face, from 'Angry Eyes' Jeep grilles to bumpers that look like they belong on an armored military you're familiar with AT, then that's really not surprising. Founded back in 1990, the company was a special vehicles division on Toyota but now operates independently. From the beginning it's focused on no-nonsense off-road modifications instead of catering to the mall crawler crowd that wants more flash than substance. For anyone wanting to impress while in line at Starbucks, this build will be completely boring. But for those who want a vehicle that's seriously good at off-roading, especially in incredibly remote and rugged areas of the world, this build could be the ticket. There are many subtle mods on the rig. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, the Land Cruiser has a wider track and fender flares. The frame, body, and drivetrain are all modified to increase ground clearance while keeping the center of gravity low. Also included is a bespoke two-way adjustable suspension system designed by Arctic Trucks with 'Dakar-winning specialists' providing input. Wheel travel is improved and the suspension provides a modest 1.5 inches of lift, so nothing too crazy. But the construction sounds rather stout, which is what matters most on the trail. Buyers get to choose between 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K03 or Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. You'll note the AT Heritage wheels have an understated look that's a little bit of a throwback to simpler times, which pairs well with the Land Cruiser's retro-inspired styling. Finally, AT highlights the 2-inch multifunction receiver hitch adventurers can use for towing, recoveries, or any number of accessories while getting out into the great outdoors. According to Arctic Trucks, the AT37 not only can take on a variety of off-road conditions from rocks to snow, it's supposed to handle quite well in daily on-pavement driving. While some people can afford to have a weekend toy, for many hobbyists these days their off-roader has to do double duty as a commuter vehicle. Images via Arctic Trucks

Arctic Trucks Turns the New Prado into a Rugged Off-Road Beast

Introducing the AT37, a specially modified version of the Toyota Prado crafted by Arctic Trucks. At first glance, it may seem like a standard Prado with oversized tires, but this vehicle brings far more to the table. Arctic Trucks, renowned for creating the iconic fleet of Toyota Hilux trucks featured in the Polar Special of Top Gear, has now turned its expertise toward enhancing the latest Toyota Land Cruiser Prado with an extensive suite of upgrades. Enhanced Design and Tuning The AT37 features a thoroughly upgraded suspension system. The factory-standard suspension has been replaced with a two-way adjustable setup, offering extended suspension travel at the front, while the rear benefits from new springs and dampers. This configuration results in a modest 1.5-inch lift, enhancing the Prado's off-road capability. The SUV is equipped with 17-inch Arctic Trucks wheels paired with 37-inch BFGoodrich T/A K03 tires, giving it its distinctive AT37 name. To accommodate these massive tires without any clearance issues, a widebody kit comprising 10 pieces has been integrated into the design. Beyond these visible enhancements, Arctic Trucks has reengineered the 2025 Toyota Prado's chassis. The rear axle has been repositioned further back, extending the wheelbase, while the track has been widened. These modifications improve ground clearance and stability while ensuring the ride remains comfortable, delivering a robust yet practical off-road experience. Mechanical Upgrades Although the AT37 retains the Prado's original powertrain, the speedometer has been recalibrated to account for the updated suspension and tire configuration. Additional features include mud flaps positioned behind the rear wheels, rubber side steps for convenience, and a refreshed interior with newly installed carpets that complement its rugged exterior. Distinctive badging highlights the unique identity of this vehicle, emphasizing its status as an adventure-focused off-roader. To enhance its versatility, a 2-inch multi-function hitch has been added, enabling towing capabilities for outdoor excursions. Freyr Þórsson, Arctic Trucks International's R&D director, highlighted the meticulous development process, stating that the project benefited greatly from close collaboration with suppliers in the UK's motorsport valley. These efforts have translated into notable improvements in performance and functionality. While the price of the AT37 has not been disclosed and varies depending on the region, it's evident that the extensive list of upgrades makes this modified Prado a premium offering. Arctic Trucks Has Worked Off-Road Magic on the Toyota Land Cruiser

Good news, folks: the off-road-minded customizers at Arctic Trucks have just dropped an extra-badass version of the latest Toyota Land Cruiser the company calls the 'AT37.' Even better news: it's going to be available for purchase here in the U.S. For this particular build, the Icelandic shop took a regular J250-generation Land Cruiser and went to town on key areas, which should improve performance off the pavement. The name itself comes from the BFGoodrich 37-inch tires that come standard; you can opt for either all-terrain or mud-terrain versions. Those tires wrap around bespoke forged alloy wheels, and it all rides on a new two-way adjustable suspension system developed in partnership with R53: the new monotube dampers are designed to maximize off-road performance with increased travel, and ride height is increased 1.6 inches above stock. Arctic Trucks says it even made changes to the drivetrain to ensure a factory-like experience with the new suspension and tires. Fitting all these new parts necessitated body changes to accommodate the wider track, leading Arctic Trucks to design some very cool-looking widebody fender flares. (Also cool: the flares include a recessed tire pressure guide for optimum PSI both with and without a heavy load.) Unique aluminum side steps with rubberized inserts have been fitted, and mud guards are designed to integrate with the new fenders. Of course, 'Arctic Trucks' logos can be found sprinkled around the SUV. The interior even features a special gear selector and dash trim materials along with sills and mats designed by Arctic Trucks. When it comes to actually purchasing one of these rigs, Arctic Trucks says it's partnering with Toyota dealers here in the United States, meaning you should be able to take delivery of the Land Cruiser AT37 straight off the dealer lot. Road & Track has reached out to Arctic Trucks about pricing and delivery info, and we'll update this post should more details become available.
