Sunny Deol is widely known for his 'angry young man' persona with films like Damini, Gadar, and Arjun Pandit. However, according to his co-stars, the actor is an extremely shy person in reality. In a recent interview, veteran actor Tiku Talsania recalled a time when the Gadar star was too shy to shoot a dance sequence amid a crowd, forcing makers of the film to create a set within a studio for the same. In an interview with Lallantop, Tiku said, 'He had to shoot a dance sequence at Shimla's mall road. The place was suddenly crowded with public, making the actor extremely conscious. Looking at the crowd, Sunny told the makers, 'Aaj nahi, baad mein karenge (Let's shoot it some other day)'. And then they recreated mall road somewhere in a studio. He is a very shy person you know. He doesn't like that kind of an adulation and all.' Long time ago, on Salman Khan's Dus Ka Dum, Sunny Deol had briefly spoken about his struggles with dancing. The episode also featured Sunny's father Dharmendra when the veteran actor said, 'When it was my turn to dance in films, I used to feel nervous. When Sunny entered the film industry, I hoped he could do what I struggled with in dancing. However, even Sunny faced difficulties with dancing.' Just last year Sunny Deol had admitted being a bad dancer but claimed he did Vicky Kaushal's Tauba Tauba before anyone else. Sharing a video from his 1996 film Ajay on his Instagram Stories. The video featured Sunny and Karisma Kapoor dancing to the song Chhammak Chhallo, but the audio was edited to include the Tauba Tauba song. A young Sunny was seen performing dance steps similar to those in Vicky's song. Sharing the video, the Gadar star wrote, 'When they say you can't dance, and then you find you did it before anyone else did.' The video was also shared by Karan Johar, who wrote, 'OMG! He did it first! Sunny sir (red heart emojis).'
