See the tournament schedule. 📷 Photography exhibits — Two exhibits — "Front Row Center: Icons of Rock, Blues, and Soul" and "The Prison Concerts: Folsom And San Quentin (Jim Marshall's Photographs Of Johnny Cash)" are on display at The Momentary in Bentonville. Alabama among finalists for top uncommitted 2026 quarterback After reportedly setting an upcoming visit to Tuscaloosa, 2026 quarterback Matt Ponatoski has now announced a list of four finalists, a group that includes the Alabama Crimson Tide. In addition to Alabama, Ponatoski also includes the Arkansas Razorbacks, Kentucky Wildcats, and Oregon Ducks among his finalists. A two-sport athlete who is also a top baseball prospect, Ponatoski is currently rated as the nation's No. 278 overall player in the 2026 class regardless of position, per the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings. A four-star recruit, Ponatoski is also considered as the No. 21 overall quarterback in the class, as well as the No. 12 player in the state of Ohio where he attends Archbishop Moeller High School. No. 3 overall seed Arkansas beats Creighton 8-3 to capture Fayetteville Regional
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Logan Maxwell drove in three with a pair of home runs and Justin Thomas Jr. delivered a three-run shot to back a 13-strikeout performance from starter Gage Wood as No. 3 overall seed Arkansas beat Creighton 8-3 on Sunday to win the Fayetteville Regional and earn a berth in the super regionals. Wood (3-1) allowed three hits in six innings and two of them came in the fourth inning after he struck out the first two batters. Teddy Deters singled before Wood hit Will MacLean with a pitch. Ben North homered on the next pitch to get Creighton within 6-3. Advertisement Maxwell homered to left field off starter Garrett Langrell (7-2) for a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Thomas homered to center in the second for a 5-0 lead and Ryder Helfrick added a solo shot in the third. Maxwell homered leading off the fifth and Charles Davalan added an RBI triple in the sixth to cap the scoring. Gabe Gaeckle allowed two hits in three shutout innings for his first save. The Razorbacks (46-13) — making their 36th appearance in the NCAA Tournament — have advanced to the College World Series 11 times but never won it. They were runners-up in 1979 and 2018. Creighton (43-16) eliminated North Dakota State 11-10 earlier Sunday. The Bluejays have played in 12 tournaments and made their only CWS appearance in 1991. ___ AP college sports:

Arkansas (45-13) advances to the Fayetteville Regional final on Sunday against either Creighton (42-15) or North Dakota State. The Razorbacks have started 2-0 in a regional for the first time since 2022.

He added an RBI double in the third on a shot to right field for a 3-0 lead. Aloy, the SEC player of the year, smashed a shot over the left-field wall for a three-run homer and a 7-0 lead. His 20th home run of the season — a two-run homer to reach five RBIs — came in the seventh to make it 9-0. Helfrick left the yard with a solo shot in the sixth and added a two-run homer in the seventh for an 11-run lead. Root (7-5) struck out seven, while allowing just three hits.
