Collector honoured for supporting ex-servicemen welfare
Bhopal: Bhopal collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh was presented with a citation and a memento on behalf of governor Mangubhai Patel. This recognition was for the welfare programmes being run for the families of martyred soldiers and ex-servicemen, as well as for collecting funds for the Armed Forces Flag Fund, exceeding the target given to Bhopal district.
Retired Colonel Rajiv Khatri presented the citation and the memento to the collector on behalf of the governor. An amount of Rs 15,08,081 was collected against the target of Rs 13,51,900 by Bhopal district in the year 2024-25 for the welfare of ex-servicemen and the families of martyred soldiers.
