Fire forces closure of Gimli landfill

A fire in the RM of Gimli closed down a landfill in the community.
According to a public notice, crews responded to the fire at Arnes Landfill around 4 a.m. on Thursday. Firefighters were on scene throughout the day working to extinguish the blaze.
The landfill was closed to the public on Thursday and may be closed again on Friday.
