Motorcycle collision witnesses wanted: OPP
South Bruce OPP are looking for witnesses of a motorcycle crash to come forward. On Saturday just before 2 p.m., a report was made of a single vehicle collision on Bruce Road 3 between Brant-Elderslie Townline and Concession 2A in Arran-Elderslie. Officers said when they arrived on scene, they saw a motorcycle left the road. A 63-year-old rider was taken to hospital with injuries. Bruce Road 3 was closed for a couple of hours as an investigation took place. Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash cam footage, is asked to contact the South Bruce OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Workplace tragedy in Bruce County
One person is dead and another has been seriously injured following a workplace incident near Chepstow. The South Bruce OPP say they, along with the Brockton Fire Department and Bruce County Paramedic Services, were called to a property on Concession 6, near Chepstow, around 6 a.m. Friday morning. They say they found a person trapped under a concrete wall. Police say a 37 year old from Hanover died as a result, and a 35 year old from Arran-Elderslie was rushed to a trauma centre in London, but their injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police. The Ministry of Labour has been notified and is now leading the investigation into the workplace death.
