Dunelm £15 hanging baskets that 'look expensive' and 'don't seem fake at all'
The "beautiful and colourful" flowers feature a blend of bright pinks and purples perfect for sprucing up any home.
Dunelm shoppers have hit upon a cost-effective way to inject "permanent colour" into their gardens without the need for continuous upkeep. As warmer weather beckons and individuals look to spruce up their outdoor areas, not everyone wants to shell out for an extravagant transformation.
Some have found that snagging the Artificial Petunia Plant in Hanging Basket from Dunelm for just £15 provides just the splash of life needed for their green spaces. The homeware giant say the "realistic-looking" product can "brighten up your outdoor space" courtesy of its fuss-free vibrant petunias.
Dunelm say the fake flowers are "perfect" for zhuzhing up the outside areas of a home"with none of the maintenance of a real plant". And because the product comes with a basked and modern chain attachment, it is ready to be installed right away.
Adorned with a combination of purple and pink blooms, the basket is hailed as a source of instant colour, reports Nottinghamshire Live.
And shoppers have described them as "beautiful and colourful" as well as saying the flowers "don't look artificial in the slightest."
Dunelm suggests that they're perfect when hung from a garden fence, displayed on a wall, or even placed by your front door to create an inviting atmosphere as the summer season approaches.
If shoppers are looking for something a wee bit different, Dunlem also have other artificial plants on offer. Their Tropical Hanging Cone Basket is currently £20, while the Scalloped Rattan Hanging Basket is just £10.
Elsewhere, Amazon offer a 10 inch Lavendar Hanging Basket for £19.99 and B&Q's Artificial Smart Garden Pansy comes in at £26.
Those who are considering Dunelm's Hanging Basket are not alone, as the plant has earned an impressive 4.8-star rating from customers.
One five-star reviewer gushed: "Lovely, bright and cheerful - just the right size too. Realistic-looking and good value for money."
Homewares deal of the week
With summer on the horizon, you'll be wanting to spend more time in your garden relaxing.
To help keep you protected from harmful UV rays, a stylish parasol can really refresh your outdoors space. Fortunately, Asda has just bought back its sell-out item that shoppers can't stop raving over.
The supermarket's highly coveted Riviera Stripe Parasol was so popular when it first launched in 2024 that it apparently "sold out in nine weeks." Now, it can be yours for just £59 when you buy it here.
The supermarket's summer garden staple is said to "bring a slice of the Riviera into any garden" thanks to its trendy striped canopy and intricate tassel edging that offers a "boho touch" to the design.
It's not just a stylish addition to your garden, as the FSC-certified wood pole has a lean function that allows you to tilt the canopy whenever you feel the position sun shift. Meanwhile, the polycotton canopy is said to be "weatherproof", making it suitable for unpredictable UK summers.
Since the Riviera Stripe Parasol sold out within just over two months last year, it's expected that it will be popular once again this year. It's also no surprise to hear that it has managed to amass glowing five-star reviews on the George at Asda website.
One delighted customer wrote: "I'm blown away by how amazing this product is. I've been wanting to get a patterned parasol with a boho touch for a while, but unwilling to spend the £150+ that they normally are. I thought I'd give this one a go, but didn't expect much for the price.
"It is exactly what I wanted. Furthermore it also tips and has a lovely case. It is stylish, good, waterproof fabric and looks like something you would get from a much fancier, 'bespoke' store. I could not recommend it more."
The Riviera Stripe Parasol can be bought online at George at Asda for £59 here.
Another added: "Lovely outside the front of the house. A great price, looks more expensive too." Echoing this, someone else said: "Beautiful, colourful and doesn't look artificial in the slightest."
Not all feedback was as glowing, however, with one person suggesting the flowers seemed cheap upon closer inspection and questioning their longevity.
Another said the stems looked a bit sparse, and revealed they had to purchase more to fill in the gaps in the basket.
