12 meat shops fail safety test, issued notices in Ghaziabad
Ghaziabad: Twelve meat shops in Ghaziabad were issued notices after they were found violating hygiene standards or operating without valid food registration certificates during a two-day inspection drive conducted by the food department.
The inspections covered areas including Khoda, NH-24, Mehrauli, Rajapur, Shastri Nagar, and Loni. "Eight shops were issued improvement notices for poor hygiene practices. These include outlets in Khoda, Rajapur, Vivekanand Nagar, and Loni," said Arvind Kumar Yadav, assistant commissioner (Food)-II. "If the violations aren't addressed within the stipulated time, their registration certificates may be suspended." TNN
