Ashland High, Career Center student named Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for April
Keaton Murphy is Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for April. He is the son of Patrick and Elisabeth Murphy and is a senior at Ashland County West Holmes Career Center and Ashland High School. He is in the Early Childhood Education program. Murphy is a two-year member of the Ashland County Community Foundation Impact Youth Council, FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and National Technical Honor Society. His honors include being a FCCLA state qualifier, Student of the Month and being named to the honor roll for each grading period. In his spare time, Murphy works at Miller's Hawkins Market and enjoys photography and participating in community service. Bernard named Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for March
Macy Bernard is the Ashland Elks Teen of the Month for March. Bernard is the daughter of Molly and Bronson Bernard and is a senior at Loudonville High School. She has served as the president of her class since her freshman year, and is a member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Students. Bernard volunteers at the LifeWise Academy and in the nursery at Calvary Baptist Church. She has been named to the honor roll each grading period in high school. Bernard is a teacher for the Olive Tree Childcare program and enjoys caring for young children, photography and spending quality time with her family.
