Kinetic Credit Union Golden Apple Award Winner: Ashleigh Drew
This week's Kinetic Credit Union Golden Apple Award Winner is Ashleigh Drew, a biology teacher at Carver High School. Clint Perkins from Kinetic Credit Union presented the award.
A Columbus State University graduate, Drew is in her second year of teaching. Nominated by one of her students, they wrote, 'she's a great teacher and an inspirational person who makes it easy and fun to learn.'
Drew was honored to be recognized and was glad her student noticed her hard work and dedication. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher but wasn't sure of the subject. After her science classes in college, she chose biology.
