Vogue Williams stuns in a summery floral print midi dress as she leads stars at Chelsea Flower Show event
Vogue Williams turned heads as she led the stars at the Penelope Chilvers x Kitten Grayson stand during the Chelsea Flower Show on Tuesday. The Irish broadcaster, 39, looked incredible in a white midi dress adorned with delicate blue, pink, yellow, and green floral detailing. The elegant ensemble featured bow-tie straps and a tie-up front, flowing into a flattering A-line skirt. She added height with a pair of gold heels and carried her essentials in a chic shell-shaped handbag. Vogue completed the look with layered gold jewellery and shielded her eyes behind a pair of classic black sunglasses. The stunner appeared in high spirits as she posed up a storm for the cameras, and was later joined by fellow star Ashley James. Vogue Williams turned heads as she led the celebs at the Penelope Chilvers x Kitten Grayson stand during the Chelsea Flower Show on Tuesday Ashley, 38, looked equally beautiful in a coordinating midi dress featuring purple, blue, and yellow floral detailing. She completed her summery look with pink wedges, a woven handbag, and matching pink earrings. Lady Amelia Windsor, Yomi Adegoke, Afua Hirsch, and Marissa Montgomery were also at the event. The Chelsea Flower Show has long been one of the highlights of the annual royal calendar since the first event was held in 1912. Organised by the Royal Horticultural Society in London's chicest borough, the garden show has historically been attended by senior royals - with everyone from the late Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles, to the Prince and Princess of Wales stopping by to smell the roses. As it returned to the manicured lawns of the Royal Hospital of Chelsea for its 113th edition, however, reality TV stars and social media influencers far outnumbered the royals - with Charles, 76, and Camilla, 77, among the family's only representatives. Experts noted that while these celebrities can sometimes up the glamour quotient, not all of them are familiar with the correct protocol, Britain's self-styled Queen of Etiquette Laura Windsor told MailOnline. 'Celebrities taking the spotlight, as well as influencers getting in the way with their Iphones can just get too much for those who are more interested in admiring the scene, leading to comments such as "Oh, not another celeb" or "I wish this person would stop taking 100 photos of the same flower!" Yomi Adegoke and Afua Hirsch both appeared in great spirits as they stunned for the cameras at the event 'Discretion, nowadays, is what people want,' she continued, adding the focus should be solely on the display gardens. The flower event comes after Vogue revealed she 'thought her life was over' after divorcing Westlife singer Brian McFadden on the latest installment of the Mail's 'The Life of Bryony' podcast. In a candid conversation with Mail columnist Bryony Gordon, 'relationship girl' Vogue, reflected on her love life ahead of turning forty. She remembered feeling as though she had 'ruined her life' in 2017 after her divorce aged 31 from Westlife singer Brian McFadden. The Irish mother-of-three revealed her joy at having built a happy family life with Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, 36, despite the constant 'outside noise' that surrounds their relationship. 'I am excited at turning forty', Vogue told the podcast. 'When you are 19 or 20, you think that 40-year-olds are really old and battered. Then you actually get there and you think, this is a really nice moment. 'In your thirties, you are still trying to figure stuff out. I remember being divorced at 31 and thinking, I've ruined my life. I am never going to have kids, I am never going to do what I always wanted to do. 'Then you see how your life actually starts to unfold – that's why it feels exciting to move into your forties.' In her eagerly awaited autobiography Big Mouth, Vogue details her struggles with anxiety that have cast a shadow throughout her adulthood. Vogue told Bryony she manages the disorder far better now, with a 'great' and supportive family behind her. However, the model admitted that the 'noise' surrounding her marriage to TV star Spencer still manages to get under her skin. Vogue and Spencer have been married since 2018 and share three children together, Theodore, Gigi, and Otto.

Ashley James shares very honest behind-the-scenes BAFTAs post as she lifts the lid on 'army' of stylists, late night dress fittings, underwear pee holes and 'endless' breast tape
Ashley James has shared a very honest behind-the-scenes look at the reality of being a guest at the BAFTA TV Awards. The TV personality, 37, was among those invited to the star-studded awards ceremony at London's Royal Festival Hall on Sunday. Ashley looked sensational for the evening, donning a pale blue structured corset gown featuring draping off-the-shoulder straps, a bejewelled bodice and trailing skirt. But taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Ashley gave her fans some insight into how much work goes into getting award show ready - including fashioning an emergency pee hole in her underwear at the last minute. From late night dress fittings 'because my body isn't sample size' to sneakily hidden yoghurt stains from feeding her kids, Ashley was sure to highlight the 'lack of glamour'. The presenter also shared snaps of her being covered in 'endless amounts' of breast tape, as well her skin the morning after and precariously trying to take off her t-shirt after her hair and make-up had been done. Sharing the refreshing take, the mum-of-two said: 'A little look behind the scenes of the red carpet photos - BAFTA edition. 'I remember before I started the industry - and even when I first started looking at red carpet events and thinking it all looked so glamorous! And I know from the outside it really does look polished - but I thought it important to remind you of all the work and lack of glamour behind it all! 'The late night fittings where things don't quite zip up because my body isn't "sample size", the hidden yoghurt stains from rushing to get the kids fed before I went to get ready, have to cut crotch holes with scissors just to be able to pee (and I definitely misjudged that one LOL!). 'Plus the whole team who quite literally piece you together so you can show up feeling like the the best version of you're self. Honestly, @tatiana_londonstylist has spent days sourcing dresses and getting them adjusted and even trying to source the right underwear. It's bonkers really how much is done just for that one moment!' She continued: 'Plus there's the reality of how our skin looks in bad lighting - we still have pores and lines and in my case old tan on my back that needed covering from where I didn't wash it properly! One of the girls couldn't go to the loo for 8 hours because she was stitched into her dress! 'I think I always like to show the reality and work behind the red carpet pics so you remember not to compare yourself and to remind you that behind the scenes it's a whole lot less glamorous! 'As always I feel so grateful to be able to go and even more grateful to the amazing glam team who made me look the way I did! Because I did not look like that this morning!❤️' Back in March, Ashley opened up about her personal struggles with her self-worth and body image, admitting it took her a 'really long time' for her to accept herself. She is determined to ensure her two-year-old daughter, Ada, never faces those same battles and is committed to breaking free from the societal pressures that often leave women feeling inadequate. Speaking candidly about her journey towards self-acceptance, Ashley explained how important it is for her to protect Ada from the toxic culture of body image obsession. She exclusively told MailOnline: 'I really don't want my daughter to ever feel like she's not enough or to ever critique herself, especially when, you know, we can't change our body shape. 'Women are so much more than our bodies, and we should be learning how to respect ourselves and strength.' Ashley said it's not just about resisting the pressure for women to look a certain way but also about redefining beauty on her own terms. She emotionally told how she wants her daughter to know her value is not determined by her appearance. 'I want Ada to grow up and know that she can be a footballer if she wants and not have to waste time thinking about food and diets,' she shared. Ashley also reflected on how long it took her to accept her body, a journey that now fuels her passion to spread positivity and challenge the harmful beauty standards. 'I feel really passionate about it because I think it took me so long to get to a point where I respected and appreciated my body and wanted to do good for my body, especially, you know, in a society that I feel like always makes women's bodies trends,' she explained. 'It's just something that I really want to try and help women kind of not see skinniness and shrinking themselves as the ultimate goal.' But it's not just her daughter that Ashley worries about - she also has concerns for her four-year-old son, Alfie, whom she shares with her partner Tommy Andrews. 'I want to keep using my voice to give women and girls a voice and keep fighting for equality and, you know, keep getting involved in politics and doing what I can to make not only the world better for my daughter, but also for my son because I worry about him as well growing up in this world,' she said. As part of her efforts to create positive change, Ashley has teamed up with the FA and Barclays for this year's Biggest Ever Football Session called Made for this Game, which takes place on March 7. The event encourages schools across the country to get as many young girls as possible playing football on the same day. Explaining why she's so passionate about this initiative, Ashley said: 'I spent quite a lot of time with young girls as part of my job and obviously this week is International Women's Week. 'On Monday, I was doing a shoot with lots of 4 to 8-year-old girls. I asked them, "What's the best thing about being a girl?" and they said, "Oh, that we get to play football now".'

Quadruple cancer survivor killed after bullets fly through her home
BERTHOUD, Colo. (KDVR) — A small community in Colorado is mourning the loss of a well-known woman who was shot and killed in a random act of violence. Jennifer James, 49, had beaten cancer four times, only to be shot in her own Berthoud home by bullets that investigators say were fired from a stranger's car. Affidavit: Man says deadly shooting of woman in Berthoud home was an accident Two bullets went through a window and a wall and killed Jennifer James. 'It just makes me mad that such a senseless act of violence occurred and you never think that's going to happen to you,' James' oldest daughter, Ashley James, said in an interview with FOX31. By all accounts, James was well loved by so many in Berthoud. She was passionate about helping kids who were battling cancer, too. She loved helping find animals a home and was a huge Denver Nuggets fan. The bullets that investigators say came from a stranger's gun left a hole in the heart of this community. 'She was the most selfless mom that anyone could ask for. She kind of devoted her whole life to us kids, so I'll be forever grateful for everything that she did for us,' James said. The shooting happened on April 28 around 11:20 p.m., according to an affidavit for the suspect's warrantless arrest obtained by FOX31. Two of James' children were home at the time of the shooting. According to the affidavit, Larimer County Sheriff's Department investigators used surveillance video and license plate reader data to track down the suspect. The sheriff's office arrested 20-year-old Ebenezer Worku, of Denver, and charged him with first-degree murder — extreme indifference after he was taken into custody for questioning and admitted to firing the gun. Worku claimed that he accidentally fired the gun twice, not knowing how it worked. He was booked into the Larimer County Jail and was issued a $1.25 million cash-only bond. James' funeral is set to take place later this month. A fundraiser through GoFundMe has been set up to help the family cover expenses. Those who wish to contribute can donate online. More details on the investigation from the affidavit can be found in a separate article here. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
