Building collapses after massive fire at factory triggers blast in Delhi's Bawana
NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out at a factory in Delhi's Bawana Industrial Area early Saturday, leading to a building collapse caused by blasts, with 17 fire tenders deployed to the scene. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to fire department officials. The fire department responded swiftly to control the situation at the Bawana factory, which contained inflammable materials. — PTI_News (@PTI_News) "The building has collapsed and there are inflammable materials in the building... In a separate incident on Tuesday night, a fire broke out at a private school in Delhi's Nirman Vihar Colony, under the Preet Vihar Police Station area. The fire damaged a car parked near the school. The fire department dispatched five fire tenders to handle the school fire. Fire Officer Firoz Khan provided details of the response. "We received a call at 8.55 pm. Five fire tenders reached the spot and we doused the fire. There was a fire at the school, an adjacent building, and a nearby car," said Khan. Delhi: Building collapses in Bawana Industrial Area following major fire
ANI 24 May 2025, 10:33 GMT+10 New Delhi [India], May 24 (ANI): Following the major fire that broke out at a factory in Delhi's Bawana Industrial Area early Saturday, a blast caused a building to collapse, officials said. The fire department said 17 fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and no injuries have been reported. It added that the building collapsed due to some blasts. Divisional Fire Officer Ashok Kumar Jaiswal said the fire was nearly controlled. Speaking to ANI, Jaiswal said, '...The building has collapsed and there are inflammable materials in the building... No one has been injured in the fire is almost under control...' Earlier, in the late hours of Tuesday, a major fire broke out at a private school in Delhi's Nirman Vihar Colony, under the Preet Vihar Police Station area. According to officials, the fire charred one car parked near the school.
