Lahore Qalandars to host 'Qalandars Night' on April 6, announce free tickets
Lahore Qalandars have announced Qalandars Night, their annual entertainment event, set to take place on April 6 at Minar-e-Pakistan. The event will feature a combination of cricket, music, and entertainment, with the full Lahore Qalandars squad in attendance. The event will offer fans an opportunity to meet their favourite players and witness live performances from top Pakistani singers, including Asim Azhar, Bilal Saeed, Sarah Altaf, and Sahir Ali Bagga. In addition to musical performances, Lahore Qalandars will unveil their official team kit and launch a new anthem during the event. The night will conclude with a laser show, providing a visual spectacle for attendees. Earlier, Qalandars had announced a kit design competition which ended yesterday. Lahore Qalandars have made Qalandars Night an annual tradition, celebrating the passion of their fans while blending cricket and entertainment.

Ali Zafar to perform official anthem for HBL PSL X
Renowned singer Ali Zafar has been selected to perform the official anthem for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 10). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the announcement through the league's official social media channels. Zafar, who has composed the anthem himself, has a long-standing association with PSL, having previously delivered some of the league's most recognisable songs. His 2017 anthem, Ab Khel Jamay Ga, remains one of the most celebrated cricket anthems in Pakistan. His return has generated anticipation among fans, many of whom associate his music with PSL's energetic spirit. Zafar previously performed Ab Khel Ke Dikha in 2016, Ab Khel Jamay Ga in 2017, and Dil Se Jaan Laga De in 2018. PSL anthems have featured various artists over the years. In 2019, Khel Deewano Ka by Fawad Khan and Young Desi gained popularity. Tayyar Hain (2020) brought together Ali Azmat, Haroon, Asim Azhar, and Arif Lohar, while Groove Mera (2021) introduced a new musical style with Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners. Agay Dekh (2022) featured Atif Aslam and Aima Baig, followed by Sab Sitaray Humaray (2023), performed by Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi. PSL 10 will begin on April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The six-team tournament will feature 34 matches across Lahore, Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi, concluding on May 18. Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including the Eliminators and the final. Rawalpindi will stage 11 matches, including the first Qualifier, while Karachi and Multan will host five matches each. Three double-headers are scheduled, with two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1). An exhibition match is also planned for April 8 in Peshawar, with team details to be announced later.

Asim Azhar wraps up successful US tour
Singer Asim Azhar took to Instagram to mark the end of his successful US tour by posting a snippet from what appears to be a sold-out concert in Chicago. Paying an emotional tribute to the fans who made his tour viable and the colleagues who helped bring his dream to fruition, Asim poured his heart out in a long caption filled with gratitude. "Thank you for making this the biggest tour of my career," began the Soneya singer with a heart emoji. "I honestly did not expect it to be so big, the love & energy you guys came out with in every city was unbelievable & unreal, kasam se." Hoping to capture the high-octane atmosphere of his concerts in just a few words, Asim gave a special shout out to all the fans who had soaked up his performances and fed off his energy on stage. "Each and every one of you who bought tickets, sang till you lost your voice, danced till you couldn't feel your legs, I love you, and I thank you." Knowing that the memory of his string of shows would be forever etched in his own mind, Asim added, "And I really hope you remember it forever, because I will." Paying homage to the growing international recognition of Pakistani artists, Asim continued, "13 cities. Sold out shows. New standard for Pakistani concerts abroad. Damn. Thank you once again. You're making a kid from Karachi live his dream. See you very soon." Asim once again made full use of a heart emoji to thank his fans, and went on to tag the professionals who had worked behind the scenes to bring the tour to life. "PS, no dream without a team," finished Asim, tagging in his coworkers. "Love you boys! Can't wait to do this again."
