PETALING JAYA : A highway maintenance worker accused of sexually assaulting a child fostered by his wife two years ago has been ordered to enter his defence.
Buletin TV3 reported that sessions court judge Sayani Nor made the decision after finding that the prosecution led by Othman Affan Ismail had proven a prima facie case against Asran Tahir, 42.
Sayani said the decision was made after an examination of witness statements and the exhibits presented.
