Bahrain and Kuwait Forge Partnership to Boost Youth Empowerment and Education
Manama: The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al Osra Consultancy and Training Company in Kuwait to strengthen cooperation in youth empowerment and the advancement of Gulf educational development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement supports the third Gulf edition of the 'Atamanna' (I Wish) National Development Project for Education and the Shaikha Hessa bint Salem Al Sabah Award for Educational Leadership. The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, by Sheikha Latifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Director of the Evaluation and Performance Directorate at the Ministry, and Sheikha Hessa bint Salem Al Sabah, General Supervisor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Osra Company.
This agreement aims to enhance collaboration between the Ministry and the company in promoting the Shaikha Hessa bint Salem Al Sabah Award for Educational Leadership, in which Bahraini educational institutions actively participated in its first and second editions. The latest edition saw a Bahraini student and teacher winning top honours.
