Expressing her gratitude in a social media post, Chaudhary wrote, "I'm grateful to all the people who have tremendously supported me in my journey from the start till now. Heartiest thank you to our chief minister Yogi ji, who allowed me to serve my country again in the UP Police. Thank you to the UP police department, Athletes Federation of India (AFI), and Sports Authority of India(SAI) for the unwavering trust and support in me. I will always do and give my best." Her family expressed pride in her achievement. "Parul's dream of becoming a senior police officer has finally come true," said her brother Rahul Chaudhary. "Our family is filled with immense joy and pride. Parul faced a lot of criticism along the way, but today, she has made the whole village proud. It's a remarkable milestone." Chaudhary's appointment as DSP was announced last year by the UP govt, alongside a cash reward of Rs 4.5 crore in recognition of her performance at the Asian Games.
