AuSable Valley Unified Hoop Day Game
KEESEVILLE, NY – The AuSable Valley patriots hosted their Unified basketball school day game on Frriday. They would host the Saranac Spartans in front of a full Patriot's gymnasium. AuSable got out to a big lead early on, which included a first quarter buzzer beater from Pats freshman Troy Vanvalkenburg. Who I found out is a master at the high-pressure shots. The visiting Spartans would mount a second half comeback that got them to within one possession, making for an interesting finish. Jacob Latour helped lead the comeback for Saranac. Patriots Set Records On Way to Title
CANTON, NY – The AuSable Valley boy's swim team captured their 4th straight Section 7/10 title on Saturday. Senior Alix Perras would break his own record in the 50-yard freestyle, and for the 4th time this season. He was helped out by Shawn Paul Hansen and DeShaun Stone, who each qualified for states with individual event wins, while Logan Young, John Baldomir and Caido Greenely were a part of winning relay teams.
