Calgary homicide unit investigating suspicious death Saturday afternoon in Auburn Bay

An investigation is underway by the homicide unit after one person was found dead in the southeast Calgary community of Auburn Bay Saturday afternoon.
At around 2:50 p.m., police say they were called to the 1000 block of Auburn Bay Circle S.E. for reports of a man believed to be dead inside a home.
Police discovered the dead person, and described the death as suspicious.
An autopsy will be conducted on Monday.
Police say there is no threat to the public.
