Loader sustained third-degree burns and was in an induced coma for eight days. Walpole stood watching and said, 'What the f— have I done?' and, 'He told me to do it.' ‌ The judge overseeing the case described the act as unprovoked and particularly violent, fuelled by drugs and heavy drinking, the outlet reported. 'This is a tragic case, in so many ways, for the victim and his family and the offender and her family: two young lives destroyed,' Judge Jennifer English said. In court, Walpole said she was remorseful and that she has given up drugs and alcohol. She will be eligible for parole in November 2029. The judge in an Australian court rejected the claim that she was provoked by loaded comments. Walpole was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years jail with a minimum of four-and-a-half. She could be seen mouthing, 'it's going to be okay' as she listened to the sentence. She will be almost 29 when she is eligible for parole.
