Couple in tears after having to sit next to corpse on long-haul flight
An Australian couple were forced to sit through a 'traumatising' flight next to a passenger who died on route to Europe.
Mitchell Ring and Jennifer Colin were flying from Melbourne to Doha, on their way to Italy, when a woman suddenly collapsed after leaving the airplane bathroom.
Despite attempts by cabin crew to revive the woman she was not able to survive. The couple told Australian Channel 9 that they had not been offered any support from the airline.
'They have a duty of care towards their customers as well as their staff. We should be contacted to make sure, do you need some support, do you need some counselling?' Mitchell said.
