Stacey Soloman fears 'career is finished' as fans slam BAFTA video rant
A source claims that Stacey Solomon is 'worried it could all end' as fans slam her emotional video following BAFTA snub. A source has revealed that Stacey Soloman is "worried her career is finished" as the TV star is hit with backlash from fans after posting an emotional video on social media. This post followed the star not winning an award at the BAFTA TV awards earlier in the week. In recent weeks the stars seemed to be aligning for the TV sweetheart. Along with the renewal for a sixth season of her BBC show Sort Your Life Out, she has also come out with a new reality series with her husband Joe Swash that viewers have been lapping up. However, things have gone downhill after the 35-year-old took to Instagram the morning after the BAFTA TV awards show to admit that she was "devastated" that Sort Your Life Out didn't win, reports the Mirror. In the controversial video, Stacey became emotional while talking about missing out on the award. She said: "I'll be honest, I'm devastated. I'm not handling it very well, not taking it very gracefully." Standing in her garden, she also added: "I'm so gutted for our team." The mum-of-five went on to say: "It's not an easy show to make… the team works so hard to make it happen, and they so deserve a Bafta. People think making TV is really easy, and it's not… We all pack up a house, and within seven days, that house is packed into vans, over to a warehouse, laid out on the floor. "We go through it meticulously… We donate, we recycle, we resell, put it all back and try and put in systems to help families move forward." Some fans praised Stacey for being "refreshingly honest" and have argued that the Loose Women presenter was simply "disappointed for her team" and that the video was "hardly a rant". However, others weren't as impressed by the video, with some telling her to "get a grip" and to stop being a "bad loser". Some also claimed that Stacey has "got too big for her boots" and is "showing her true colours" in contrast to her usual "wholesome" demeanour. While Stacey has not publicly spoken out since her BAFTA video, a source claims that the star is worried "it could all be over". They added: "The negative comments really upset her, she takes them to heart. She never wants to be seen as ungrateful, because she's not. She had a really humble upbringing and everything she does, she does to give her kids the best opportunities possible. They are what drives her. "She has a sort of inferiority complex, like imposter syndrome, partly because of where she's come from. Don't forget, she became famous on The X Factor and she's seen so many other people from shows like that just disappear over the years. So the fear of 'Could I lose it all too? Could it all be over?'' is always there to some extent." The source continued: "She's a really hard worker and gives her all to everything, so it's devastating when it doesn't pay off, and it understandably makes her worry. But she's one of telly's biggest success stories who always wants to keep the wheel turning, so she won't stop doing what she does best." Stacey has revealed that she battled imposter syndrome in the past. In January 2023, she expressed her constant fear of "losing it all" during the cost-of-living crisis as she reflected on having "nothing". At the time she said: "My dad is from a background where he had nothing, like literally nothing, so we could have nothing again. Even to this day I think, 'Well, we're comfortable now but something's going to go wrong at some point, it won't stay like this forever.' It's inherent." She added: "You're constantly thinking, 'I'd better hold on to that' and 'I'd better not waste that' because in a few months' time, I could be on the street." Fanning the flames of the star's fans, Stacey's sister Jemma also shared a post on Instagram slamming the BAFTA judges. She said: "If only it was a public vote, I think things would have been a little different." If this wasn't enough trouble, Sort Your Life Out has also recently come under fire as some viewers have criticised the show for failing to acknowledge the emotional toll of hoarding. After a recent episode, some fans revealed that they felt the team was "too harsh". However, Stacey has insisted that the show is about empowering families and not judging them. She said: "It's so hard to let someone into your house when you're going through a difficult time."

Next Doctor Who odds 2025: who is the favourite?
The future of Doctor Who has been the subject of a lot of discussion recently. According to reports, a decision has not been made on the future of the show after the current season. Could 'Shogun' season 2 arrive earlier than expected? 'We're rushing it to screen' says showrunner
"Shogun" season 2 won't start filming until 2026, according to FX's official release about the historical epic set in feudal Japan. But in a shocking twist, we might also get episodes later that same year. At least, that seems to be the case based on the latest comments from co-showrunner Justin Marks. "We start shooting in January," Marks told RadioTimes at the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards. "Which is not enough time to get what we need to get off the ground, so we're rushing it to screen. It's a lot less time to make the show this time around than we had in the first season." For context, "Shogun" took nine months to film the first time around, though it was rumored to have taken two months longer than expected. So, rushing it means probably a seven-month shoot or shorter, or perhaps rushing post-production so that it's occurring more concurrently with filming. This sounds like the show is aiming for a 2026 rather than a 2027 release date. It also runs counter to what Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden said back in March about not releasing season 2 "until it's ready.' Given that either a late 2026 or early 2027 release would have the show firmly in the window for the 79th Emmy Awards — which presumably will have a cutoff date of May 31, 2027 — I'm not quite sure what the rush is, unless currently the schedule has them projected to miss that cutoff date. I just hope that if this is being rushed to the screen, it is with no expense spared to ensure there is no dip in quality. Season 1's exquisite production values are a big part of what made it such a success, and losing that in season 2 would be a major blow. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. I recommend you check out our full season 2 hub for everything you need to know about the next season of "Shogun." But here's a brief recap of what we know so far. First, we know that season 2 will feature a 10-year time jump, and so far is only bringing back Hiroyuki Sanada as Lord Yoshii Toranaga and Cosmo Jarvis as John Blackthorne. It's been suggested that other season 1 characters will return as well, but expect a lot of new faces. In terms of production, Marks told RadioTimes at the BAFTA TV awards that the production will begin in Vancouver soon. "In fact, I'm going in two weeks to scout out our first locations," he clarified. Then shooting will begin in January 2026, and our best guess is that episodes will arrive on FX in late 2026 or early 2027. Savor those episodes, though, because FX chairman John Landgraf has suggested there might not be a season 3. Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022, and has been covering the latest in streaming shows and movies since 2023. He's not one to shy away from a hot take, including that "John Wick" is one of the four greatest films ever made. Here's what he's been watching lately:
