UnboxingBLR Foundation's (UBLR) '' urban-forestry initiative, in association with Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), was inaugurated on Friday by the Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar at Nehru Planetarium. Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BBMP, UBLR has taken up 'Hasiru Bengaluru' with an aim to transform unused or under-utilised public spaces into high-densitywill assist in identifying suitable sites, provide access for implementation, and facilitate the use of BBMP-owned parks and premises for public engagement and awareness programmes.
