Iowa standout Owen Freeman announces transfer to Creighton
OMAHA, Neb. (KCAU) – Former Iowa Hawkeye forward Owen Freeman announced he will be transferring to Creighton, making the move official on his social media.
Freeman entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on March 15th, following the dismissal of longtime Hawkeyes head coach Fran McCaffery.
Freeman averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game before suffering a season-ending hand injury in January.
