How Charlie Sheen Earned Praise From Ex-Wife Denise Richards
It's been nearly two decades since and ' messy divorce, and their relationship has been rocky ever since. However, he just earned some major points in her book. Charlie appeared on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, Season 1, Episode 7, 'My Dinner With Charlie,' and Denise felt thrilled that he chose to participate. Ahead of the episode's airing, she shared a sweet message to her ex on her Instagram Story, thanking him for taking the time to film a scene. 'I love this episode so much,' Denise wrote about the episode which aired on April 1, 2025. 'My ex-husband Charlie Sheen is on it. I know that a lot of you love him. I am so glad that he did this episode. It means a lot to me and my family and that he supported us,' Denise added. Coming on a reality show for one scene might seem like a small gesture, but it was a long time coming for Charlie. Despite his extensive career in showbiz, this was his first time on reality TV. 'I've never been on a reality show before,' he admitted during the episode. According to Denise, she had been trying to get him to appear on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The producers wanted to see the two together, but Charlie declined. He admitted that he never even watched RHOBH when Denise was on it. 'I never saw the show until about three days ago, and I stumble into this fight that you're in with Lisa [Rinna], but I didn't have the backstory, so I couldn't really pick a side,' Charlie told his ex-wife. 'I mean, I picked yours … for obvious reasons,' he teased. While Denise felt thankful that Charlie stepped out of his comfort zone for her show, the rest of her family wasn't as thrilled. For example, Sami Sheen skipped out on meeting up with her dad. 'I would rather do literally anything else than go to lunch with my father,' she admitted in a confessional interview. Although all of the 'wild things' weren't pleased by the outing with Charlie, it clearly meant a lot to Denise. The two of them have a compelling relationship, and honestly, I didn't expect the show to be this interesting. Denise Richards & Her Wild Things airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
