He alleged that this has always been the strategy of the RSS and the BJP. 'The Congress party and the entire country accept Babasaheb's contribution to the Constitution, because Babasaheb does not belong to any one class. The rights that people have received are Babasaheb's gift,' Chaudhary said. 'The Congress appeals to the Central and state governments to resolve the obstacle in installing Babasaheb's statue in the high court premises. We all want that Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's statue should be installed,' he said. Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari said the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar was to be installed in the high court premises. 'In this case, the entire process was completed with the permission of the high court. Despite that, this process was stopped, it was due to pressure from the BJP-RSS,' he said. 'The Congress party is in favour of the installation of Ambedkar ji's statue. We will do social awareness and political movement to protect the Constitution,' Patwari said. 'I request that those who are creating obstacles in the installation of the statue should apologize for their mistake. BJP-RSS people are behind this entire act. The Congress opposes this,' he said. New Delhi [India], May 26 (ANI): Congress leader Jairam Ramesh on Monday lashed out at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, calling out an old article published on the latter's official website that was critical of reservation policy, stating that it was an 'attack on Babasaheb's Constitution.' In a self-made video, Ramesh highlighted an article titled 'Aarakshan ki Aag main Sulagta desh (country in the fire of reservation)' published in 2014-2015 on the official website of Yogi Adityanath, and said that the words used in the article label reservations as part of the 'divisive politics.' He alleged that not only Adityanath, who used such language against reservation, but also Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi think along similar lines. 'The kind of words used in the article, this is an attack on Babasaheb's Constitution--such word, 'Nikamma banana wala aarakshan'. He calls reservation 'desh ki vibhajankari raajneeti (politics that divides the nation)'. UP CM is not the only person who uses such language (against reservation). Rare conjoined twins born with two heads, one torso
Mumbai: A woman delivered premature conjoined twins—with two heads but one torso—at the BMC-run Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Municipal General Hospital in Kandivli on Tuesday night. The twins were transferred to BMC's super-specialty LTMG Hospital in Sion on Thursday and are reportedly critical. "They are on ventilator support... any course of action can only be decided once they stabilise," said a senior doctor. A medical team, led by head of Paediatric Surgery Dr Paras Kothari, will have to study the children's internal anatomy in detail before planning any surgery, if at all, the doctor added. Sion Hospital dean Dr Mohan Joshi refused to comment. Conjoined twins are rare, with an incidence of 1 in 50,000 or 1 lakh live births. Doctors classify conjoined twins based on the point of fusion—chest (thoracopagus), abdomen (omphalopagus), head (craniopagus), and so on. Doctors at the municipal hospital in Kandivli said the mother only recently registered for delivery at their hospital despite being in an advanced stage of pregnancy. The mother, who was pregnant for the first time, underwent an emergency C-section and delivered the twins—classified as thoracopagus as they are joined at the chest—around 8 pm on Tuesday. After she was fit for discharge, the Kandivli doctors decided to transfer the twins to Sion Hospital for intensive care on Thursday. Conjoined twins develop when an early embryo only partially separates to form two individuals. Mumbai's best-known Siamese twins, Riddhi and Siddhi, turned 13 last week.

Mayawati criticises Congress and BJP over caste census and reservation issues
LUCKNOW: BSP National President Mayawati criticised Congress once again on Saturday for trying to take credit for the caste-based census, which the govt has decided to conduct for the first time since independence and the year 1931.
