Meghan Markle's ‘Baby Mama Dance' Is Now Her 2nd Most-Viewed Reel After This Big Reveal
Meghan Markle has got moves — and the views to prove it! A video posted by the Duchess of Sussex, 43, on Wednesday, June 4, shows her and Prince Harry doing the "Baby Mama Dance" on the day of Princess Lilibet's birth has racked up millions of views in just one day. The clip, which was posted to Meghan's Instagram on Lilibet's fourth birthday, now has 23 million views and counting. While the video has pulled in an impressive amount of views, it's currently still second to Meghan's As ever name change announcement post, which garnered over 27 million views when she shared it in February. In the June 4 video, Meghan and Harry, 40, take part in the viral trend of the time by dancing along to Starrkeisha's "The Baby Momma Dance" song. "Four years ago today, this also happened," Meghan captioned the post. "Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do! 😂" As Meghan dances in a black dress and crades her baby bump, Prince Harry enters the frame and begins to dance with her. The As ever founder shakes her hips, puts her arms in the air and spins before the couple drops it "down low" like the lyrics command them to. Can't get enough of PEOPLE's Royals coverage? to get the latest updates on Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and more! Meghan shared more never-before-seen content June 4 in honor of her daughter's birthday, including some sweet photos of Lilibet and Harry that she posted to Instagram. "The sweetest bond to watch unfold 💕 Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer," Meghan wrote below the photo carousel. "Happy birthday Lili!" The first photo shows Prince Harry holding newborn Lilibet in a sweet black-and-white shot, while the second image captures the father-daughter duo walking barefoot down a sandy road while hand-in-hand. Another photo Meghan shared for Lili's birthday reveals a touching connection between her and Prince Archie, Meghan and Harry's eldest child. In the image, newborn Lilibet is wrapped in a blanket while she rests on Meghan's chest. PEOPLE confirmed that the blanket previously belonged to Lili's big brother Archie, 6, who was swaddled in the the same merino wool product from British knitwear brand G.H. Hurt & Son during the official photo call that introduced him to the world at two days old. Read the original article on People

Meghan Markle copies influencers with her cringeworthy 'Baby Mama' twerking video with Prince Harry while heavily pregnant - after trend that 'induces labour' goes viral
Meghan Markle copied a series of celebrities by performing a 'Baby Mama' dance with Prince Harry while waiting for their daughter Princess Lilibet's birth. The Duchess of Sussex last night posted an extraordinary video of her 'twerking' to the song by Starrkeisha while in the delivery room in California four years ago. The Baby Mama dance was a social media craze in 2018 with celebrities such as Ex on the Beach 's Chloe Goodman and her influencer sister Lauryn Goodman involved. Other notable figures to have tried the dance include High School Musical's Ashley Tisdale, Pretty Little Liars actress Shay Mitchell and Doctor Who's Karen Gillan. The playful lyrics encourage expectant mothers to 'drop it down, drop it down, down low', adding: 'When the song come on let me see you get gone / Baby mamas, this your song / Been pregnant for way too long / Now tell the DJ turn it on.' In Meghan's video, her hair is in a ponytail and she is wearing a sleeveless black summer dress which she pulls up as she shimmies towards the camera, using her hands to display her baby bump more prominently and then waving them in the air. Harry then sways in front of the camera, dancing with his hands and shaking his hips, as his wife pushes her bottom out, shaking it and then wiggling her own hips. Towards the end of the excruciating 81-second video Meghan beckons Harry, sporting a hoodie and jeans, toward her - before glancing to make sure the camera is recording, giving it a knowing glance and then pulling her dress up above her knees. The caption to her Instagram post said: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do.' Meghan seemingly has a cannula ready for a drip in her left hand, a hospital identity band on the other wrist, and is surrounded by medical equipment. Earlier, Meghan shared two previously unseen photos of Lilibet with Harry. One of the pictures showed the Duke of Sussex holding his daughter's hand as they walked along a sandy road barefoot in the sunshine, while he held his shoes and a cap. The other image was of Harry holding Lilibet as a baby while they looked at each other. Meghan wrote in a post accompanying the pictures: 'The sweetest bond to watch unfold. Daddy's little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!' The post was made at 7.40am California time (3.40pm UK), just under eight hours after Meghan earlier posted two other intimate family photos of her with Lilibet. In that post, the Duchess shared a black-and-white snap of herself cuddling Lili, who was sat on her lap, with the pair both sporting windswept hair, seemingly on a boat. The second image in the first post showed Meghan tenderly cradling newborn Lilibet as she enjoyed skin-to-skin time with the new addition to her family in 2021. Meghan wrote in the first post: 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. 'Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!' The Duchess usually only shares photos of her daughter pictured from behind to protect her privacy. But in the more recent photo, Lili's eyes and the top half of her face could be seen, with her nose and mouth and the rest of her face covered by Meghan's arms as she hugged the princess. Lili - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's youngest child - was born on June 4 2021 and was named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor. She only became entitled to be a princess when her grandfather the King acceded to the throne, because of rules set out by King George V in 1917. Harry and Meghan started using prince and princess for Archie and Lili after the princess's christening in 2023, following correspondence with Charles about the matter. On Tuesday, Meghan suggested that she might launch a future business with Lili as she chatted to Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles on her podcast. 'I wonder if one day I'll be in business with Lili and we'll be building something,' the duchess said, with Knowles adding: 'That's the best.' Last week, the Duchess shared a clip of her and her daughter beekeeping in matching protective suits, writing: 'Harvesting honey with my little honey. (Like mother, like daughter; she's even wearing my gloves).' Lilibet is named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II. Princess Elizabeth had difficultly pronouncing her own name as a toddler and her grandfather George V would affectionately call her Lilibet, imitating her own attempts to say Elizabeth. The sweet nickname stuck and she became known as Lilibet to her family from then on. But the late Queen was reportedly 'as angry as I'd ever seen her ' after Harry and Meghan claimed they had her blessing to use the name for their daughter Lilibet, a royal aide said. Royal author Robert Hardman, in his biography of the King, told how a member of staff recounted Elizabeth II's fury following Harry and Meghan's announcement in 2021 over the use of her childhood family nickname. The BBC later reported a Palace source said the Queen was not asked by the Sussexes whether they could use Lilibet. But the Sussexes' lawyers fired off legal letters to the broadcaster and other publishers, saying the claim was false and defamatory. A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan insisted at the time that the duke spoke to his grandmother in advance and would not have used the name had the monarch not been supportive. Hardman wrote however: 'One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been 'as angry as I'd ever seen her' in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter 'Lilibet', the Queen's childhood nickname.'

Watch: Meghan twerks while pregnant in video celebrating Princess Lilibet's birthday
Credit: Instagram/Meghan The Duchess of Sussex has released a video of herself twerking while pregnant with Princess Lilibet to celebrate her daughter's fourth birthday. The Duchess, 43, can be seen performing the dance move, which involves hip-thrusting while in a squat position, with her husband in hospital while waiting to give birth to their daughter, who is seventh in line to the British throne. In the Instagram caption, Meghan said that she was using the dance technique to induce birth, which she revealed was a week late, for both Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, six. She explained: 'Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work – there was only one thing left to do!' In the video, Meghan can be seen cradling her stomach before looking over at the Duke of Sussex and starting to dance to Baby Mama Dance by Mic Drop Mama. The song, which includes the lyrics 'drop it down, drop it down down low', was the focus of a TikTok trend where pregnant women showcased their dance moves at 39 weeks (nine months). It is not confirmed that dance moves such as twerking induce labour, but some induction tips will include being as mobile as possible. On NHS Lothian's website advising women what they can do while having an induction, it states: 'Walking, dancing, swaying, squatting and using a birth ball all help to keep you mobile and active, which can help your labour to establish.' While the Duchess did not make clear her reason for sharing the video, it marked the third post she made on Instagram in celebration of Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday. The other posts included new family photos of her daughter, who has rarely been pictured facing the camera in recent years. The posts included a black and white picture of herself holding her daughter on what appears to be a boat as well as shots of the Duke walking hand-in-hand with his daughter. Meghan wrote: 'Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. 'Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!' In the picture, Princess Lilibet's eyes and the top half of her face can be seen, in a departure from the Duchess's usual rule of only showing the children from the back in order to preserve their privacy. Her decision to share a personal glimpse of the Princess's birth in the dancing video, however, might be thought to be in part an attempt by the Duchess to silence false online conspiracy theories that her children were born by a surrogate. Elsewhere, the Duke can be seen cradling a newborn Lilibet in 2021. Since moving to the US in 2020, the Duke and Duchess have guarded their children's privacy, but the Duchess has increasingly posted photographs of them on her Instagram feed. Last month, she shared previously unseen images of the children in a post to mark the couple's seventh wedding anniversary. In April, the Duke and Duchess called for stronger protections for children online after unveiling a memorial in New York City to young people who lost their lives because of the harmful effects of social media. The couple joined a vigil and met families who believe social media played a part in the deaths of their children. The Duke told BBC Breakfast that 'life is better off social media' and said 'enough is not being done'. He added that he was 'grateful' Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were still too young to be online.
