This was Anant's second visit to the 12th-century shrine ahead of his marriage with Radhika Merchant. One of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Jagannath, the Puri Jagannath Temple was built in the 12th century by King Anantavarman Chodaganga Deva and holds immense religious significance as part of the Char Dham pilgrimage. The temple is famous for its deities—Lord Jagannath, along with his brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra—who are worshipped with great devotion. One of the temple's most celebrated events is the annual Rath Yatra, where the deities are taken out on massive, beautifully decorated chariots, drawing millions of devotees from all over the world. The Puri Jagannath Temple is not only a spiritual center, but also a symbol of rich cultural heritage and architectural brilliance. Meanwhile, earlier this week, Akash Ambani paid a visit to the Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat with his father, wife Shloka Mehta, and children Prithvi and Veda. The family was also spotted at the Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh in the beginning of May. First Published:
