PM: Baghdad will remain a pillar of Arab decision-making
PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani affirmed on Saturday that Baghdad will always remain an arena for joint Arab action, a source of strength and power, and a pillar of Arab decision-making.
"On behalf of Iraq, the government, and the people, I extend sincere gratitude to our Arab brothers who participated in the Baghdad Summits, both the Arab Summit and the Development Summit. We hope that their outcomes will help fulfill the aspirations of our peoples across the Arab world," said Al-Sudani in a post on X - followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

He highlighted, "Baghdad will always remain a center for joint Arab action, a source of strength and resolve, and a pillar in shaping Arab decision-making. This was demonstrated clearly by its hosting of our brothers and by the initiatives and resolutions it produced, resolutions that meet the magnitude of the challenges we face today."
"The hearts of Iraqis remain open and their hands extended to every meaningful step toward the future and to every effort that fosters stability and development, curbs the spread of conflict, and brings us closer to realizing the hopes of our peoples," he stressed.
