The call focused on strengthening military and strategic coordination under the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), a landmark pact that HRH described as a driver of Bahrain-US bilateral cooperation. Pact Reaffirmed HRH Prince Salman stressed the Kingdom's unwavering commitment to enhancing regional and global peace efforts. He highlighted the value of C-SIPA in reinforcing joint readiness and aligning regional security strategies with US-led efforts. His Royal Highness noted that the Bahrain-US relationship rests on deep-rooted military and defence collaboration, which has evolved into one of the region's most robust security partnerships. Stability Highlighted The conversation also underscored the pivotal role of the United States in ensuring regional and international stability. Both sides exchanged views on current developments and common priorities shaping the Middle East security landscape. HRH Prince Salman reiterated that Bahrain remains a committed partner in advancing peace and countering threats in coordination with allies across the Gulf and beyond. Continued Coordination The strategic dialogue follows a series of high-level engagements between Manama and Washington in recent months, aimed at operationalising C-SIPA and expanding its scope across both defence and prosperity tracks.

Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with the delegation visiting the Kingdom of Bahrain from the United States Congress. The delegation included Senator Joni Ernst and Representative Debbie Schultz. The meeting was attended by Steven C. Bondy, Ambassador of the US to Bahrain. According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa emphasised the strength of the longstanding ties and strategic partnership between the Kingdom and the US, based on solid foundations of cooperation across all domains. He noted the mutual commitment to further advancing bilateral relations to serve shared interests and aspirations. The minister reviewed the progress of Bahrain-US relations and the advanced level of strategic cooperation across various sectors. He underscored the importance of continuing to advance bilateral cooperation for the benefit of both countries and their peoples. The meeting also discussed means to enhance financial and economic cooperation and addressed a number of issues of common concern.

Commending the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, the Cabinet highlighted the exceptional services provided to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of pilgrims. Turning to international affairs, the Cabinet reaffirmed the strategic importance of the United States of America in preserving security and stability in the Arabian Gulf and ensuring the safety of maritime navigation in both the Gulf and the Red Sea. It emphasized the enduring and multifaceted Bahrain-US relationship and reiterated the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening economic and trade ties as part of their longstanding strategic partnership. During the session, the Cabinet reviewed several key memorandums. Among them, a memorandum presented by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs was approved. The memorandum concerned a draft resolution outlining procedures for tax review requests and objections submitted under the Decree-Law regulating tax on multinational projects. The meeting concluded with a focus on continued legislative reforms aimed at supporting Bahrain's strategic development goals and enhancing transparency within regulatory frameworks. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was also attended by key figures including Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Ambassador to the United States; Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor; and Shaikh Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Strategic Security Bureau (SSB). HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad emphasized the strong ties between Bahrain and the United States, noting the importance of further strengthening cooperation with the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
