Bahrain's Ministry of Transport and Communications Launches Online Postal Box Subscription Service
TDT | Manama The Ministry of Transport and Communications has announced the launch of an online subscription service for private postal boxes through Bahrain Post's website. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency of postal services for both citizens and residents by automating processes and transitioning them to smart electronic systems, ultimately improving customer satisfaction by ensuring quick and seamless transactions. Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Hidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications, emphasized that this new digital service enables citizens and residents to easily subscribe to or cancel postal box subscriptions through Bahrain Post's dedicated platform, without the need to visit postal centers in person. The service also allows users to select their postal box number through an interactive map and choose the nearest branch to their home or business, among other features, within a user-friendly interface. Dr. Al-Hidan further noted that the Ministry remains committed to its comprehensive plan for developing the postal sector. This includes focusing on human resource development, improving services and infrastructure, and supporting the digital transformation, in line with the government's efforts to enhance services and contribute to sustainable development. The initiative aligns with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.

Transportation Ministry announces Bahrain Post services on My Gov app
The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced that Bahrain Post has made several services available on the 'My Gov app', as part of the ministry's commitment to providing innovative, efficient, and sustainable digital solutions in line with the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Fatima Abdulla Al Dhaen, Undersecretary for Land Transport and Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, said that the postal services offered via the 'My Gov' app include the renewal of private P.O. box subscriptions and the tracking of postal shipments using the upgraded eKey (2.0). This system enables citizens and residents to securely access services through biometric authentication (face ID), allowing customers to track their parcels easily and securely while enhancing efficiency in government transactions.
