HRH Crown Prince and Russian Culture Minister Discuss Bilateral Cultural Partnerships
Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Her Excellency Olga Lyubimova, at Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting coincided with HE Lyubimova's visit aimed at inaugurating the Russian Seasons in Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Russian Seasons event in Bahrain is part of a series of cultural agreements designed to strengthen Bahraini-Russian relations, focusing on cultural and arts sectors. His Royal Highness emphasized the importance of these initiatives, which reflect a history of multisectoral collaboration between the two countries.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed the mutual commitment to bolstering bilateral ties through various agreements and memoranda of understanding. These efforts aim to achieve shared objectives and further develop cooperation in numerous fields.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad extended a warm welcome to HE Lyubimova and conveyed his greetings to the President of the Russian Federation, His Excellency Vladimir Putin. He expressed wishes for Russia's continued progress and prosperity.
HE Lyubimova, in turn, expressed gratitude for His Royal Highness's dedication to enhancing bilateral relations and extended her wishes for Bahrain's continued success and advancement.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen). His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials were also present.
