Huge ITV dating show 'to return 16 years after axe' following worldwide success
An ITV dating show is set to return to UK screens 16 years after it was axed An ITV dating show has will be returning back to screens after almost two decades off air in the UK. Farmer Wants a Wife, which has aired in countries around the world was first broadcast on the channel in 2001 for one series before moving over to Channel 5 eight years later. However, despite its success in Australia, UK bosses decided to scrap the show after one season on the channel - which was fronted by Louise Redknapp. The show follows a Bachelor format, in which a unlucky-in-love farmer chooses a potential romantic partner among a group of single city women - hoping that it can blossom into something more. However, it's now been reported that the show is set for a reboot amid the increase of interest in agriculture following shows including Clarkson's Farm. "The time is thought to be right to revisit the UK farmers as interest in rural living has never been greater thanks to Jeremy Clarkson et al and after Covid many have rethought city life," a source told The Sun about a reboot. 'It's early days so a channel isn't yet attached, nor a host, but everyone is very excited.' The publication also reports that Fremantle Media, who made the original two UK series are exploring the reboot, and are currently looking for single farmers has already begun. Bosses have reportedly said they're open to 'all genders, sexualities, ages and love interests.' The Mirror has contacted ITV and Fremantle Media for comment. The third season US version of the show is currently airing, and there's no shortage of drama. Last night, Bailee Wallace dramatically took herself out of the competition for Colton Hendricks' heart. Bailee was visibly upset when farmer Colton couldn't decide who to choose between Bailee, Zoe and Keeley. It all got too much for her when she realised Colton's feelings for her weren't enough. "I can't choose between the three of you right now. I'm so damn indecisive,' he told her. 'If I was in your shoes, I would probably be fed up with it as well.' Bailee then said she loved herself enough to walk away. 'I am not what Colton is looking for and he is not what I need,' she said when exiting the show.

Lutherville Lab students remembered as ‘joyful,' ‘inquisitive' following fatal highway crash
Two Lutherville Laboratory Elementary School students killed in a highway crash Saturday are being remembered by family, friends and the school community as bright, joyful children with infectious personalities. Bailee Brooks and Serenity Gross were 9 years old and in third grade at the school, Lutherville Lab principal Sean McComb wrote in a letter to parents and guardians. 'Bailee was a bright and happy child, well-liked by her peers, with a smile that could light up a room and an inquisitive spirit,' McComb said in the letter. 'Serenity was a spirited and joyful child, with a magnanimous personality that connected her with many other children. … We are all devastated by this news.' Around 11 p.m. Saturday, a Maryland State Police trooper was performing a traffic stop on a Jeep Wrangler driven by the uncle of one of the girls on the inner loop of Interstate 695 at Greenspring Avenue when the vehicle took off. The trooper did not pursue the vehicle, deactivated his emergency lights and reentered traffic, state police confirmed. About three minutes later, the trooper came upon the Jeep fully engulfed in flames in the grass area of the I-695 ramp to southbound I-83. The preliminary investigation indicates that the Jeep was attempting to exit onto the ramp for southbound I-83 when it lost control, hit an embankment and then a tree before catching fire. All three were pronounced dead on the scene by emergency medical personnel. In a statement, the family of Brooks expressed their grief. 'Our family is naturally devastated by this tragedy. The family would like to thank the entire community for their love and support. While we grieve for our Bailee, we pray our support for all of the families impacted by this tragedy,' the statement said. Lutherville Lab's Parent Teacher Association shared the news on social media and set up a GoFundMe for the families of Brooks and Gross. 'The Lutherville Lab community is devastated to share about the heartbreaking loss of two of our beloved 3rd grade students, Bailee Brooks and Serenity Gross,' the PTA said in a social media post. 'The LL PTA extends our dearest condolences and support to Bailee and Serenity's loving families, friends, teachers, and peers. Our community continues to come together for support, and share stories of their too-short lives. Bailee was funny, spunky, curious, and made those around her laugh. Serenity was bright, kind, energetic, and an amazing athlete and helper. Both were among friends wherever they went, adored their families, and will be missed by all.' The Baltimore County Schools Traumatic Loss team was on-site at Lutherville Labs this week to support students through their grieving for the loss of Brooks and Gross. The school counselor and social worker also helped students who needed counsel. The Maryland State Police is handling the investigation and could not be reached for comment Tuesday. State Police have not released the driver's identity. Have a news tip? Contact Todd Karpovich at tkarpovich@ or on X as @ToddKarpovich.

Jelly Roll cries over seeing his daughter brokenhearted by mother's struggle with addiction
Jelly Roll became emotional as he reflected on how his 16-year-old daughter Bailee's life has been impacted by her birth mother's battle with addiction. During a recent appearance on "The Pivot" podcast, the 40-year-old country star, who has been candid about his previous arrests and incarcerations for drug dealing, explained why he is now so "passionate" about advocating for victims of the heroin and fentanyl epidemics. The "Save Me" hitmaker shared that Bailee had struggled after her mother, Felicia Beckwith, was reportedly arrested on felony drug charges earlier this month. "My child's mother has struggled with drug addiction since my daughter's been born, pretty much," Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, said. "The addict is not the victim in that situation. The family is." "I've seen the effect that it's had on her. I've got a 16, almost 17-year-old upstairs, and I've seen the effect that it's had. Like it's really hurt her too. It's truly affected her life," he continued. Jelly Roll said that he recently learned of Beckwith's arrest when someone sent him a news article about the incident and advised him to "check on" Bailee. The singer recalled that he confided in his wife Bunnie XO that he felt guilty that his fame has brought attention to his ex's struggles and how that has affected Bailee. "I was like, 'I've invited the world into our living room,'" he remembered telling his wife. "So we've just got to accept what comes with that. Like, this is my fault more than anybody's." Jelly Roll shared that when Bailee learned of her mother's arrest, it "broke her heart." "This is a 16, 17-year-old that knows her mother is a drug addict, but like, her having to see the mugshot of her mother with just meth ate up on her face," he said, trailing off. At that point, Jelly Roll admitted that he was becoming "emotional" and began to tear up. "It's truly affected her life." "I watched her go through it all over again. I was like, 'Ah, man,' I forgot 'cause I'm like, I'm 40, and I've done a lot of therapy, and I've done a lot of work and I have a relationship with God that … it hurt me, but I just got to pray about it and move on," he said while wiping away tears. "But I was like, 'Ah, man, she's 16, she don't have any of those tools. She's still gaining those tools. This hurts her.'" The four-time Grammy nominee explained that Bailee had been following the story of her mother's arrest, but humor was one method that she was using to cope with the situation. "So we laugh about it," he said. "It's just kind of her way of humor-masking. We know it's humor-masking, but she's 16. She should be able to, you know, like, let her figure out her own grief, you know? But it was good to see her at least chuckle about it because she had the opposite [reaction] when I first talked about it." "But she's working through it," he added. Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO, who married in 2016, have primary custody of Bailee and the "Wild Ones" singer's son Noah, 8, from another previous relationship. Jelly Roll previously said that he was jailed more than 40 times on drug-related charges. The singer was able to overcome his addiction struggles and break the cycle of incarceration. In January 2024, he appeared before Congress and gave powerful testimony on the devastating impact of fentanyl on Americans. During an interview with Fox News Digital, Jelly Roll shared that his troubled past and his ability to overcome it had a lasting impact on him. "I wouldn't be the man I am today if it wasn't for what I went through. I think it empowered me. I think it gave me my voice," he said at the 2023 CMAs. "It taught me a lot about overcoming. It taught me a lot about changing and the ability to change." He continued, "I was a horrible human for decades, and to just be able to turn that around and give a message in the music and help people… and just try to give back as much as I can in every way I can is very indicative of where I came from and how important it is to me to always reach back."

Brandel Chamblee and wife Bailee get caught on Kiss Cam at Orlando Magic game
Brandel Chamblee and wife Bailee get caught on Kiss Cam at Orlando Magic game It's safe to say Brandel Chamblee rarely looks uncomfortable while sitting on the set of the Golf Channel show Golf Central, even discussing highly controversial topics. The former University of Texas star had more of a sheepish look on Thursday night, however, as he and his wife Bailee were caught on the kiss cam at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, while taking in the Golden State Warriors at the Orlando Magic NBA tilt. Flanked by Golf Channel anchor Rich Lerner, Chamblee blushed a bit as his wife, a reporter and former Division I golfer, turned to give him a peck. The trio witnessed an impressive showing from Steph Curry as the sure-fire Hall of Famer dropped 56 points in a 121-115 Golden State victory. It was a throwback performance for Curry, whose previous season-high was 38 points. He went 16-for-25 from the field, including 12-for-19 from beyond the arc. He also hit all 12 of his free throws.
