Over 1,000 people protest Trump Administration outside State Capitol
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Over 1,000 people gathered outside the State Capitol to protest the Trump Administration's policies.
Community leaders and protestors peacefully shared their perspectives of the Trump Administration's recent actions.
Protests continue over Trump's policies
'I'm very heartened to see today, so many Americans voicing their opinion and willing to stand up,' Marlborough resident Baird Welch-Collins said.
Ina statement to News 8, Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto says, 'The protesters, while Amendment Rights, seem to be saying that Democracy is under attack. Hypocritical comes to mind… the Democrats continue to lack vision, an agenda and any coherent leadership.'
