Bajaj Auto Leads Electric Three-Wheeler Market with GoGo Series, P7012 Steals the Show

Bajaj Auto entered the electric three-wheeler market in February with the launch of the GoGo series. The Bajaj GoGo has three variants in its portfolio -the P5009, the P5012, and the P7012. Now, according to the Vahan portal, Bajaj Auto has registered first place in the electric three-wheeler market with a market share of 36%. The achievement is credited to the Bajaj GoGo P7012. Also, according to the portal, Bajaj Auto registered sales of 5,506 units of electric three-wheelers including the passenger and cargo EVs under the Bajaj GoGo brand. The P7012 has grabbed a spot as the key sales booster for the brand. This reflects not only the product's unmatched features but also the enduring trust in the Bajaj brand." Talking about Bajaj Auto's electric three-wheeler segment, it launched the GoGo in February 2025. It consists of three variants -the P5009, the P5012, and the P7012. The brand has named the variants strategically where 'P' stands for passengers, the initial two digits - 50 and 70, represent the size and the last two digits indicate the battery capacity- 9 kWh, 12 kWh, and 12 kWh. Bajaj GoGo boasts a range of up to 251 km on a single charge, the longest range in the segment. It also features industry-first two-speed automated transmission, improving range and gradability. The feature list of the Bajaj GoGo also includes First-in-class tech features like Auto Hazard and Anti-Roll Detection, powerful LED lights, and Hill Hold assist. The price of the Bajaj GoGo electric three-wheeler auto starts at Rs 3.27 lakh. The selling auto in the GoGo portfolio, the GoGo P7012 is available at a price tag of Rs 3.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

Bajaj Auto has surged to the top of India's electric three-wheeler market, clinching the top position in April 2025 with a commanding 36% market share. The remarkable achievement is credited to the overwhelming response to the newly launched Bajaj GoGo P7012, which debuted in February this to data from the Vahan portal, Bajaj Auto sold 5,506 electric three-wheelers in April, marking a rapid ascent in a segment the company entered less than two years ago. The electric push includes both passenger and cargo variants under the Bajaj GoGo brand, with the P7012 passenger model emerging as the GoGo P7012 boasts a best-in-class 251km range, two-speed automated transmission, full-metal body, enhanced cabin space, and a host of safety features like Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Roll Detection, and Auto Hazard lights. A 5-year battery warranty and an optional Premium TecPac with smart features like remote immobilization and reverse assist further enhance its appeal.
